I liked this movie but did not love it like lord of the rings parts of it were entertaining other parts were kind of slow moving overall it wasn't bad. Picture quality, sound quality and special effects were excellent

I love this whole Hobbit/Lord of the Rings series and am anxiously awaiting the third in the Hobbit trilogy to be released.

This is a nust own if you enjoy the Hobbit. We own all of the Hobbit movies to date and really enjoy them. While they are not in everyones taste I personally enjoyed this one. Go get it and decide for yourself.

As good as expected when compared to LOTR! As before, this cinematography was great and makes a perfect addition to my collection.

I have been a fan of the book, The Hobbit, and to see it come to life is amazing. Martin Freeman is so funny as Bilbo. Love it.

The movie is great and it's a steelbook only suck part is that film is only on bluray 3D and the extras are in standard bluray

The Hobbit is an excellent movie. Believe it or not I used it to teach lessons in personal finance.

If you are a fan of the series then this is a must add the additional clips help past a lot of the movie together.

The payoff is pretty great for this film, but the journey is long. It's still pretty great film making.

Great movie to start the beginning of the LOTR. Has lots of action and back stories about the ring and characters.

Got the third Hobbit movie as a gift and bought the other two movies to watch. Would definetly recommend this triolgy

Overall it's a good movie with a fun story. However, the movie is a bit too drawn out. I think the story could be told in two movies (instead of three) and would keep the plot and pace closer to the original book.

Great movie for the start of yet another trilogy. Big fan of Lord of the rings, so it fits in the same story line as expected.
