I love all the extra features and I am a huge fan of all of the extended LOTR movies so I couldn't wait for this one!

Amazing movie. The 3D effects make you feel like you are there in the story. A wonderful addition to any DVD library.

Bought this movie so we could watch them because my girlfriend had never watched them, and she loved them!

Movie is very good to watch, very interesting characters, but somewhat dark. Some spectacular scenes and got us ready for the sequel. If you wish to be transformed to another land, this should do it.

We bought our 3D Samsung TV last year from Best Buy but have never watched a 3D movie. It was surprisingly good.

Great start to the trilogy. Peter Jackson does it again. If you like Lord of the Rings, you will also like this.

The 3D is awesome on this flick. It's a long movie, but a really good first installment. I can't wait for the next one!

The extended editions are the way to go when buying any of The Hobbit or Lord of the Rings films.

This is the beginning of the first epic trilogy from Middle Earth. It is a must own for any fan.

The Hobbit is an amazing movie and this steelbook is as equally amazing. A must have for all steelbook collectors.

The many disk options that came in this purchase are great. I wanted in for 3D however I can watch it in blu ray too because it is also in the pack. It is a very LONG movie (2discs) so be prepared.
