A lot of filler moments to strecth the story out over 3 movies

Not as good as The Lord of the Rings. Gets very slow at times.

Long drawn out movie. Couldn't hold my kids attention.

This movie is amazing, but unfortunately, none of the copies contain the code for the digital download of the movie anymore. They should rebox them and change the case so it doesn't say it has the digital copy since it doesn't any more.

The darker lighted movies are harder to see the 3D

I ordered the extended version of the Hobbit an unexpected journey. I was also supposed to get the digital code for the digital copy but it is not here. It even says that the digital copy is included on the movie case, but it is nowhere to be found. Very dissappointing, I paid for it so I should receive it, right? I called customer service three times and I have not even talked to anybody, it just hangs up on my when i ask to talk to an actual person instead of a machine.

I had really enjoyed lord of the rings. Had been looking forward to the hobbit. I was truly sadden by the movie. I had a hard time focusing on it.

I'm a Tolkien fan boy and although I like Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit fell flat for me.

The movie was just not very interesting as a story. The photography was great and the 3D effects were neat. I was disappointed.

For the product, not the film. The package does not include the same materials as the non steelbook version. Lame...

Not really my cup of tea. I am a fan of the original movies, but this didn't do it for me.

I am not typically one to get into this type of fantasy movie, but was entertained by it and recommend it.

My LG C6 TV can handle 3D picture, but WB's blu-ray update caused the player and the TV to mis-read the signal. I couldn't watch the Blu-ray in 3D because of this. I wouldn't buy it since manufacturers are moving away from this format and last 3D TVs and blu-rays aren't compatible with this.

Got the movie on blue ray for $9.99 on best buy.com hope they have the same deal on part 2.

I think I bought this for my wife. Not a fan of LOTR. Too much walking.

i did not enjoy the hobby that much not a good story line and not enough action in it althought the sences were great and colors. but they should of make the men real like in the lord of the rings series. they look to dead. i kind of regreat buying it. i did love the lord of the rings .please make the other one real people

First to start the series..great pick for the holidays.

Really slow, turned it off after an hour, graphics were good.

I am upset that it did not come with the ultraviolet code and it didnt. That is false advertising.
