Like all of the Hobbit movies this is a good movie. We have all of them and enjoy watching them.

Love the movie, the disc quality is fantastic and I am so happy I can now watch it whenever I want.

An epic adventur start where is shows a true potential to come with the next two movies to come.

I love long movies, usually. This one spent a little too much time on non value added scenes. Breaking the book up into three movies was probably not the best idea... two would have been good though. The scene with the dwarfs joining Bilbo in his house and eating all his food was too long and stupid. And I don't know why a movie with a mature theme has to endure body noise humor... The scene with the trolls was immature. That said, if you watched the other three Lord of the Rings movies, you should see this as well.

Awesome movie loved the other movies Lord of the rings. If you have kids is a good movie for them too.

Good plot and a family friendly movie. Will watch it more than once. Happy to add it to my collection.

While the Hobbit runs with impressive visuals and enjoyable performances it suffers from an overlong running time and a story that is stretched far thinner than it needed to be.

A must have for the avid Lord of the Rings fan. Nice to see how the movie was made on the DVD disk.

This is the first Blu Ray 3D movie I bought. Well worth the money. Can't wait for the 2nd part.
