    The journey is a good one, yet an over-long one at that. Watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy is longish as well. But kept us entertained and interested throughout. However, this is the factor holding back the Hobbit trilogy from really coming out as being anything great. It lacks that extra punch to keeps us going. Or interested in what's to happen next to these early characters. Good but certainly not great this time around.

    I love the movie and collect steel books. Unfortunately, this is the regular Blu Ray, so I will still need to track down a 3d blu Ray as well
