    Great battle scenes. Kept your attention through the whole movie. Special effects were amazing.

    I am an avid book reader and a huge fan of the LOTR trilogy. These movies have disappointed me because they do not follow the book and have a TON of CGI. If you take them as their own separate story away from the book, then you have an ok set of movies, but I am one that has a hard time letting it go when it comes to the original story.

    Only downfall was there was not more scenes with Smaug...but still might be the best of the 3!
