    I enjoyed the extended version of this 2nd installment of the Hobbit. It added more substance to the story, and addressed a couple of the holes that were missing that can be found in the book.

    I saw this movie on demand before I bought it mainly because I was disappointed in the Hobbit. This one had more action and I thought it was more enjoyable than the original Hobbit was.

    If you are fan of the first movie you must watch the sequel. A must have for Lord of the Rings fans.

    As pure film and fan service, this was great. As an adaptation from the book, it still baffles me why they turned a 300 page book into 3 movies longer than the Lord of the Rings trilogy

    I don't remember the book very well, so i thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I still feel like they are stretching it a bit thin making it into 3 movies, but the cinematagraphy and acting is top notch.
