    the movie is exelent the plot and and acction exelent,but the best is the 3D in my opinion the best.

    As pure film and fan service, this was great. As an adaptation from the book, it still baffles me why they turned a 300 page book into 3 movies longer than the Lord of the Rings trilogy

    While this is a very good movie, look to another movie if you are considering it to show off 3D. Save yourself the extra money and buy the non-3D version. The 3D really adds little to this movie.

    If you loved the Lord of the Rings films, then the Hobbit films are an easy choice. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is a long movie, but we've come to expect this from Peter Jackson. Enjoy!
