    My fifteen year old loves this movie. I didn't care for it as much as the first, though still enjoyable. Once you start collecting the Tolkien movies, you sort of keep going...

    Even with non-book plot and additional characters the base storyline was followed with excellent photography & special effects. Smaug, both visually & vocally, was outstanding!

    It's a visualization of the book THE Hobbit... Stretched story which will be separated into three movies. but this director has taken good care with story and visual effects.
