It was a good movie, not too long or stretched out. Ending was a little much for a cliffhanger but got the job done.

It's a fun movie, and much better than the first Hobbit. Unfortunately it doesn't hold a candle to the LOTR trilogy.

A good continuation of the Hobbit storyline. Great special effects and action. Looking forward to the conclusion.

So this is a pretty decent sequel but for the love of god do NOT buy the 3rd hobbit movie, absolute garbage

This is such a brilliant movie from start to finish. I would def recommend this to anyone and everyone.

The reason I purchased this movie was because I already had "The Hobbit" in 3D. This movie wasn't that great but it had it's moments. It just got too hard to believe. YES!! I know it's all make believe but it got ridiculous too many times to recommend it.

Very enjoyable movie. If you enjoyed the first movie and the Lord of the Rings trilogy you will enjoy this as well.

if fantasy is an interest you are going to love the movie. if not then it is definitely entertaining for a viewing

The movie had its ups and downs with great acting and spot location cinematography but was a bit boring at times.

Got this as a gift for my girlfriend for her birthday. She loved it. Lot of bang for your buck in this edition.

This whole movie is a build up to the next beyond that it was some light hearted sounds that make it fun to watch

My youngest son and I enjoyed it far more than my husband and oldest son...they both read and loved the book.

Classic LOTR dramatic storyline scenes, but has a few scenes where the actors show off un-human-like acrobatics.

This is the extended version, about 30 mins longer i believe. gives a little better detail to certain scenes
