Great movie, but I am and always have been a huge fan of the books. With LOTR some stuff was omitted but to just add so much extra nonsense in this movie irritates me. Oh well still a fun movie just not if you focus on it matching up to the book.

I was under the impression before I watched this one that is one of the best in the series. I felt this is just another plot building movie in the series. I think the last was better but I feel this will be an important build for the next movie.

The steel case the Blu-Ray/DVD came in is awesome. The movie is a pretty good story. We do wish the ending would have come to a conclusion instead a dangling storyline. Honestly, we all already know there is going to be at least one more movie.

This movie is visually stunning. They did a great job on Smaug. The scene with Bilbo and Smaug was just as I envisioned. Way too many characters were added to the film and the story has changed to the point where it isn't the classic book.

A lot of filler. This movie really didn't accomplish much. At the end of the first Hobbit they were in view of the mountain. They just got into the mountain at the end of this film.

This is a great film that suffers from too much CGI, it often teeters on the edge of being an animated movie. I just wish the FX were more practical, it would have really gave the film more heart that it was looking for.

this series biggest fault is that it comes from a light sided story that try to mimics it self to the The Lord of the Rings saga a much darker story , it looks beautiful but most of all forgettable

The LOTR saga continues... and precedes actually. Set in the days well before the Fellowship took their first step, watch as Frodo's uncle Bilbo continues from where they left off in "An Unexpected Journey".
