I loved this show . I got the 3D movie, it was great. I can't wait till the next one comes out. I wish they would have released these before Lord of the Rings. The series is wonderful.

Second in the trilogy but first on my list. Nothing beats that river scene where they go down in barrels and fight off orcs. Might be my favorite scene of all time.

The film, like the rest of the trilogy is visually impressive, but in every other aspect a total mess. As with all of Peter Jackson's films however, the purchase is worthwhile if only for the in depth and insightful special features which have a great deal of effort and love put into them.

As good as any of the Lord of the Rings movies and the first Hobbit movie. Acting and cinematography is the best as you would expect. If you loved the other movies this is a must buy!

This item is a collectible. The movie is amazing, and the franchise is amazing. If you come across this item in your Best Buy store, I recommend you purchase it!

I saw this movie in Theater, but I want to have one so I waited this long and finally have it. I am glad it finally came. This is a great movie and can't wait to see the next episode.

I loved the Hobbit films. The imagination of J.R.R. Tolkien is far beyond any other I've seen. Peter Jackson took this story and brought it to life. One word can describe it; Amazing!

I taught The Hobbit in middle school for 20 years to get my students excited about reading. This movie captures the essence of the book while making changes to make it more cinematic.

Love Lord of the Rings so therefore The Hobbit trilogy makes everything that much better. This pack includes so much and for the price Best Buy sells it for, it's so worth your money!

In any case, the DVD+Blu-ray is great with extra features and everything you would expect. The only negative things are related to the film itself. If you are a fan you will buy it and complete the trilogy. If you came reading to this point you know already you are going to buy it being a good or a bad movie.

This second movie in the Hobbit series is fast paced and great to watch in 3-D. I enjoyed the extras that the bundled pack had to offer. If you are Tolkien this is another must have.

Knowing this was the middle movie of three, it was what I expected. Plot was good, and even though predictable, there were some twists. Beautiful cinematography, even though some of the CG animation was noticeable. A lot of the history of LOTR is being filled in in this movie. Worth having in your collection.

Bought the 3D Blue Ray so that I could revisit it close to when the next film is released, but found myself watching it right away and was immediately sucked in again. The 3D on the home screen is a must for this movie as the film seemed meant to be watched this way. The scenes with the dragon in particular.

This movie is significantly better than the first Hobbit and has excellent acting, effects, and story. While not 100% true to the book, it has been adapted well to the silver screen.

For those sticklers, it may not perfectly follow the book but it's reasonably close. I'm excited to see the rest of the extra content from the LotR appendix in the third installment.

One of the best secondary movies of a trilogy ever. Great acting pairs well with amazing directing for a very well written script including the prelude to The Lord of the Ring series

This movie is so epic! I have watched it over a dozen times already as well as the first movie. If your a lord of the rings fan, i recommend this movie for you. Its worth the money.

It's about time this came out. We have been waiting for quite a while. We have no complaints other than picture quality in a few areas. The series so far is a definite recommend.

LOVE THE ADDED SCENES IN THE EXTENDED ADDITION. ADDS MORE INFO TO THE STORY. ALSO LOVE WATCHING THE EXTRA FEATURES OF BEHIND THE SCENES, MAKING OF, AND SNEAK PEEK OF THIRD MOVIE.
