The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug (Ultraviolet Digital Copy) (Blu-ray 3D) is great for Lord Of The Ring fans Peter Jackson made another classic movie to watch over and over again.

It's a fun movie but fans of the book maybe frustrated by extra scenes added that were not in the books that serve only to drag out the movie and add some fight and action sequences

It's a continuation of the saga. It moves along at a good pace & keeps you interested. I'm just not a fan of ending a movie in the middle of something, like Catching Fire did also.

It was a great movie. We noticed so many things we had forgot since we saw it in theaters. We will watch this again with the kids. I think they will like it. VERY LONG MOVIE THOUGH!

This is a perfect complement to to first episode of the Hobbit. The story flows well and you are reintroduced to characters you are familiar with from the Lord of The Rings Trilogy.

great film..great series, great story and cinematography..the ending made everyone scream at the screen because we werent ready for the end...now we have to wait for the next one...

This movie continues the story of Bilbo well. You begin to notice them tying more things in from the Lord of the Rings movies and the effects certain things have on the characters.

I disliked this movie on the big screen. It dragged, & between trailers & the running time of the movie, it felt like a commitment rather than a few hours of entertainment. On the home screen the movie didn't seem so long, & was less like a Disney World ride & more like an action adventure fantasy film.

I thought the first movie was pretty good, but they out did themselves on part 2. Great visual and sounds. The Climax was great when they finally come face to face with the Dragon.

Loved the movie but I wanted more of the behind the scenes and an extended version like the previous Hobbit movie. Don't know why they didn't include that in the package. But the did include a DVD version of the movie. So I guess they give and the take away. Guess the extended version will come out later.

This is an action-pached and fun movie to watch. Even though it doesn't follow every detail of the book exactly, it does capture the characters & spirit of Middle Eartyh perfectly.

The second part of the Hobbit trilogy by Peter Jackson doesn't fail to entertain and brings the world of Middle Earth to life in breathtaking visual scenes and outstanding acting.

I don't think the movie needs much of a review. People who like this genre of movies are going to enjoy it, and many will enjoy who aren't terribly fond of this genre.

The Hobbit movies try to stay true to the books for the most part. There are some differences though. The movie does a good job of telling the story while keeping the action going and throwing in some comic relief. If you are a fan of LOTR or these books, then you will enjoy these movies.

The extended versions of all of the LOTR movies are must have. So much more content than what you get in the theater. If you are a LOTR fan, the extended versions are awesome!

Having read the book as a teenager, I didn't really remember it. The movie helped though. Awesome storyline. Great special affects and action sequences. Can't wait for the finale.

I was so looking forward to more answers since the reguar movie left some obvious questions...this answered some of them but not all! Great movie tho & love the new content!!!

This movie was action packed and the cinematography and special effects were great! I loved seeing some of the Lord of the Ring characters return in this prequel as well as the introduction of some new ones. I does leave you wanting more but I guess we will have to wait until the next Hobbit installment.

Movie was great and the colors were amazing. Great price...I purchased it on sale. Bought the DVD vs the Bluray so we could watch on any TV. Still looks great. My husband loves it
