I never watched The Lord of the Rings movies until recently, and I was missing out. The Hobbit movies (this one and the previous one) continue the amazing stories from that world.

This was a fantastic movie to see in 3D. The cost of 3D movies has fallen within the past few years. I hope to see more under $15!

The movie held up against the book. It is quite interesting that my child who read the book is hooked on watching the movie every time he has a chance. The movie is a must see .

I was excited to watch this movie, I get it for a great price, the 3d was not bad but I have to wait maybe half year to watch the end of this history. Or read the book of course.

Movies came early, so we planned a movie night! Over 6 hours of movie play time was unbelievable. The price was outstanding.

Enjoyed this way more than the theatrical. The first half of the movie is incredible, and it really felt like a lord of the rings movie. The 3d was good but not game changing.

I LOVE this movie. I've been a long time fan of the Hobbit/Lord of the Rings trilogy. Needed this movie because it rocks and it makes a wonderful addition to my movie collection.

Love the extra casting of (will not spoil the ad cast members)..It's middle of already fantastic story some people think it's over kill for such a short story but I love it..

Movie was very good. However the ending was just that....it just stopped. There was no conclusion to it. I would have liked some type of climatic ending, where the viewer wonders....but it just ended. Being that the movies are about years apart...its a long time to just leave the movie watcher hanging.

Despite Splitting up One Book into Three Movies, still really excited for this Sequel in the Franchise. Sets up the eventsleading up to the Battle of the 5 Armies. Must watch

While some might not like The Hobbitt as much as The Lord of the Rings trilogy, this movie was great. The clarity and look of the 3D makes my tv look perfect! Highly recommend!

If you have a 3D TV and 3D Blu Ray player you are missing a lot if you pass the 3D version up as for only a few dollars more you get everything the regular Blu Ray movie offers.

Great movie, the chase in the middle and the parts with the dragon are especially well done. Moves along much better than the first movie for those that were turned off by that.

I was waiting for this movie to come out on bluray. I was not able to watch it in theaters when it first came on. I was impressed by this second part. I recommend you to buy it.

A great second offering in The Hobbit series. Smaug really shines in this edition. A really great visual experience with the faster film speed. The 3D really pops in this movie.

I'm a giant fan of the LOTR trilogy and am just as big a fan of the hobbit series. Great cinematography and fantastic acting. The scenery was awesome and it is an amazing story.

Movie was really good. Plot and story, shed more light about the story. Great action scenes and graphics. Picture quality was amazing, as well as the sound and background music.

My wife and I are confirmed LotR fans, and loved watching this in the theater. Having it at home with my own setup brings a lot more satisfaction without the high ticket price.

The movie is good enough to keep my attention, even though it does not give a complete story. We are given a story where we no longer need to be introduced to the main characters, yet we are not going to get a full conclusion either. This is made up for with fleshed out subplots and action sequences.
