I like all the hobbit and lord of the ring movies. Watching it in 3d at home was awesome and didn't give me motion sickness like I get at the theatre. Worth the money!

The desolation of Smaug is the thrilling second film in the Hobbit series. It is a very entertaining viewing experience. Purchasing the 3D pack is the best value IMHO.

Yet another terrific movie in the double trilogy from Jackson. What else is there to say - if you loved the 1st Lord of the Rings, it just kept getting better.

This was a great ending to this epic story! An awesome Blu-ray you see every detail so crisp and clear 1080 P 3-D is a must and makes the adventure come to life!

I took all of my "kids" to see this last year and we couldn't wait for it to come out on dvd. Love it and love the digital code with it so i can watch it anywhere.

This 2nd installment of the Hobbit trilogy was even better than the first one: there was more character development, and there was a lot more action also. Great movie!

This is a epic movie based on a classic story. Sometimes the CG effects are over the top. But with out CG the movie could not be made. Can't wait for the third movie.

This movie has a lot of action which goes along with the other movies in the series. I have watched the series of movies several times and they are all very good.

I thought the storyline was mostly on point and they it ending made me want more. I cannot wait to see part 3 this fall. Great Job guys! Two enthusiastic thumbs up...

Delightfully entertaining action adventure. Comedic relief is weaved throughout the story seemingly effortlessly and helps to transition between the action sequences.

The story continues in the wonderful world created by J. R. R. Tolkien and loved by millions. The confrontation with the dragon sets the stage for the next movie.

This movie is the best of the series. The actors were amazing and the creatures were original and creepy. I loved the special features that left me wishing for more.

Great film, can't wait for the third installment. The Blu-ray could use a few more extras. I would like to see a trailer for the next film, or even this one. Most extras are simple galleries and a tour of middle earth in New Zealand. that is pretty cool. I just wish they had a bit more.

Picked this up as I love the 2nd movie. It's MUCH better then the first. These have to be seen on blu ray to truly appreciate the awesome of the effects and sound!

The extended edition is better than the original theatrical release. The story flows more smoothly and will better satisfy those who are fans of the original book.

My family enjoyed this movie better than the first in the Hobbits series. Location for filming was as amazing as the LOTR series (also filmed in New Zealand). The story picked up more than the first movie in the series and put you in touch more with the characters. Recommend the movie.

We had seen this movie in the movie theater, but not in 3D. We were hoping to have a great movie experience due to the 3d graphics. Parts of the movie were slow but necessary to build the story line for the 3rd installment to the book series. We are happy with the purchase of the dvd .

The movie follows it's predecessors with an outstanding story line and great special effects. You get fond of the characters. And the villains are not predictable like other movies. It ends abruptly but it does so in a manner that leaves you wanting more. Can't wait for the next movie.
