The special-effects for well-done the pot seems good close to the story but not exact and promote for the most part the movie seem to be quite well except for the ending which I was expecting it to be the end of the movie as opposed to ready for a next one coming up

loaded with great special features and the ultimate cut of the hobbit: desolation of smaug this is a must have for any hobbit/lord of the rings fan.

I really didn't like the first installment of The Hobbit. It was long , boring and there was simply too much going on. I was pleasantly surprised with the 2nd movie, though. His movie was so much more interesting and it definitely wasn't torture like the first one.

Excellent movie. The scenes with Smaug are worth the price alone. This is a 5 star movie choice and is the type of movie you can watch again and again.

The movie takes you on an adventure where the dawrfs are trying to reclaim their home but they must find a rare stone and not awaken a sleeping dragon.

This is a typical second movie of a trilogy, moves the story along to get to the finale, but it is still an epic on it's own. I like the extended versions of movies, it gives more of the story, so whether good or bad, the extra detail is always cool.

Really enjoyed watching this movie. Keeps you wanting more, and anticipating what will happen next. Great addition to an already successful franchise.

I own the Lord of the Rings Extended Edition Trilogy, so getting these in extended edition is the only way to go. Blue-ray pic and sound are great.

Best Buy had it available with the key, so that was great. I watched the movie and the extra scenes added so much. A must buy for middle earth fans.

I'm amazed at how they continue to write great stories going back to the very first Lord of the rings. The visual effects are the most impressive!!!

I waited for this movie for months. I even pre-paid almost 2 months in advance. The contents of the movie are spectacular. Can't wait for the next one.

The movie is great to begin with, but In BlueRay the high definition is beyond excellent.... Very good price at Best Buy compared to other retailors...

Great film quality, scenery, and plot. Very well done if you don't mind the 3 movie expansion of a short novel. I enjoy another trip into Middle Earth.

I like how the story continues from the first Hobbit movie and its getting better and better can not wait till the complete hobbit trilogy is complete.

Excellent action packed movie. My favorite out of the series with a lot good 3D scenes. Certainly recommend to anyone that enjoys Sci-fi fantasy

Personally, this is my favorite of the Hobbit films. Basically one long action scene which I think is what was appealing for me. I felt the first two were too long and slow.

The price was good, as I bought this around Xmas time. Its a standard Blu Ray, and aside from reviewing the movie itself, there's not much to say.

If you like Lord of the rings you will like this series also,great action,Peter Jackson and Guillermo Del Toro did a excellent job on these movies

This movie was far better than what I was expecting. I'd seen the original but this was like watching the movie for the first time!
