Extended version had any parts that left out, some would have made the movie stronger. But it is a worthwhile purchase for this extended edition!

Originally I downloaded this on iTunes but I wanted a physical copy and I went to bestbuy and picked it up and I was very Happy with the bluray.

Great extended edition with many special features to keep you entertained. The case is a little bigger as the case slips into the 3d outter case

I loved the theatrical version when I saw this in theaters and the extended is even better (just like the ext ed of the LOTR trilogy)

This is a must-see movie and a collector's item! I can watch this movie over and over again together with the Lord of the Rings!!!

I loved this movie! I can't wait for the next one to come out. I watched this like 4 times already. Such a great movie. 10 out of 10. 5stars way up.

I enjoyed this movie. I was interested in watching it but was sure that I wanted to buy it when it was on sale and I received $5 Birthday Rewards Points. The cinematography was great, but I believe that the movie could have been better if it were made shorter.

As with all the LOTR and Hobbit films there is a theatrical release on home video and a n extended edition. While these films are long to begin with the extended editions time and time again prove that more run time can make these movies seem more complete.

The story is good, just like star wars. You have to have, had watched all the previous to know the story. The creation and reality of charactors is done very well. It can bring out your minds imagination. Makes you feel less worried about your own quest in life.

This is the continuation of The Hobbit Series as he tries to fulfill the adventure. This is a very good movie as it leads them to the Dwarfs Old Home mountain and the struggle to recapture and free it from the scourge of Smaug.

This is a great movie to escape into, especially if you enjoy the Hobbit movies, which I do. Great cinematography and Blu-ray just makes it better.

Great movie and wonderful deal. I have the Key! I was really happy with the discount. Movie and key was only 3 dollars more than the movie alone.

I can't wait to dive into this collector's edition. I love the presentation of the box and I am excited to watch this in Full HD on my BluRay.

I loved it and cant wait for the next movie in the series! Tolkien inspired a world with his vision of how the smallest person has greatness within.

The hobbit is a great movie and part 2 it just keeps getting better and better it's my favorite books but also my favorite movies .AWESOME MOVIE....

this movie is awsome! but it will not make any sense if you do not watch the first one!!... so if you havent watched the first one....GO WATCH IT!!

The movie has an excellent story line (as does the previous movie). When you start the movie you will be so into it that the time will pass you by!

I have to complete LOTR extended editions Blu-rays and I'm not collecting all of the Hobbit ones. If you're a fan these are simply a must have.

Apart from the HUGE cliffhanger ending, this was a fantastic addition to the LOTR series, and a much more interesting plot than the first Hobbit.

This is a great addition to the Lord of the Rings series and ties important aspects of the series together in this sequel to the prequel....cheers.
