Did not expect much from this installment because I know Peter Jackson is stretching out this book into three movies. The story and action really kept my interest. And the 3D Blu-Ray looks fantastic!!

This is the best of the Hobbit trilogy and includes the extensive behind the scenes about the making of the film that are well worth the price.

It is the Hobbit of course it was great. Saw it at the theater first. Purchased it to test my new TV. So much fun to go on the adventure again.

Can't beat the pricing on this set and it does come with the online digital download that was not mentioned on the box!

Great movie, but just shy of 3 hours, makes it difficult to stay attentive during the whole movie. But great 2nd installment in the Hobbit trilogy.

Needed as a gift for my husband and could not find the bluray/digital combo anywhere else. The price was good and hubby is happy.

This is part two of the hobbit series. Movies only get better and better. More fast paced than the 1st hobbit. It's a must buy for all LOR fans.

I know Peter Jackson is trying to recapture the magic of LotR, but there just isn't enough material to stretch this out to 3 movies. I enjoyed this, but the elf scenes and Erebor scenes went WAY too long. I'l see the 3rd one as well but slightly disappointed.

I am a huge Lord of the Rings and Hobbit fan, and this is my favorite of the three Hobbit movies. :) Very great movie to watch with friends

I love all of the hobbit/LOTR films and this one is no exception. The production is fantastic and everything from top to bottom is a joy to watch.

This is a great middle movie of the trilogy. Wish it went on forever, I would watch it for 6 hours strait. Great voice on the Dragon. Smaug rules.

I love the peter jackson films. Both Hobbit and Lord of the rings. the visual quality of this blu ray is stunning. the visual FX stand out.

Not sure why we need three movies to tell this story but hey I'm going to be there for the full ride. The story and plot are put on the back burner and focus is placed on some amazing fight sequences. Bought this for 3D reasons and what can I say. Amazing.

This purchase was a Christmas gift for one of my son-in-laws. He was thrilled to receive this item as he is an avid Tolkien fan.
