What's not to like about the prequel story to the Lord of the Rings. The 2nd installment of the trilogy is very action packed and worth the time.

Movie does exactly what it's supposed to do - provide an exciting storyline to bring you to the third and final installment of the Hobbit series.

I was so excited to see this movie out on DVD that I had to have it! I love the movie and I'm so glad that they didn't go too far from the books.

Watching the movie in 3d makes me want to be there. Great series and I look forward to the next movie. This is one of my favorite series to watch

The action and effects are good. There is a little loss of flow, but not much. Being left hanging at the end is very frustrating. I understand the reason is to set you up for the next installment, but its a bit too abrupt. It is well worth the time viewing.

Anyone who enjoyed the original Lord Of The Rings trilogy will love this next installment in the story. Even tho some liberties were taken and it seems like Jackson is trying to milk the franchise.. these have been one of the best books to film adaptations!

well it is the second part of the Hobbit in 3d and it looks better on our 47" Lg than it did at the theater. can't wait for the next one is out.

Jackson sure manages to squeeze every drop (even adding some of his own) from Tolkien's single book and makes a whopper of a trilogy out of it!

Good movie. Great 3D scenes. Cliffhanger ending meaning I have to wait a year to see conclusion. Haven't had a chance to watch special features.

The movie is way better than the book to me. Can't wait for the 3rd installment to appear in theaters in a few months! It's going to be awesome!

Obviously the hobbit movies aren't nearly as epic/good as the LOTR movies but they are still pretty awesome. Smaug is the best part of this one.

The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug is a very good movie. Well worth the buy. Much more action pack than the previous Hobbit and with a great story. The dragon scene is awesome. Can't wait to watch it again in 3D. And the Lego Hobbit Xbox game is very fun.

I enjoyed this movie tremendously. It has a good plot and characters. I would reccomend it to everyone. I would definitely see this movie again.

I like this particular series so I am probably an easy sale, but I thought it was a positive addition to the franchise. The 3D is always fun.

The behind the scenes discs are fascinating to watch plus the extended scenes are fantastic

Movie was awesome, second movie in the trilogy, can't wait for the third. This blu ray copy was an amazing quality and the extra parts are cool.

Movie just kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time! A lot more action. Movie ends leaving you to want more. Can't wait for the third film!
