didn't care too much for first hobbit though was good lacked something. desolation was better in story and action, loved how they ended it.

This is the second disk for the hobbit, and I found it to be a little bit slow, but its a great present for a Lord of the Rings Fanatic

This was a wonderful follow up to The Hobbit and a great 2nd prequel to Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Good detail, well made and well played!

As I am allready a Hobbit fan I had to add this latest chapter to my collection. However, although this had the look, and the great charaters of the other chapters, it lacked the suspence and story line of the first ones. Or maby I'am just spoiled.

This movie was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it to any Lord of The Rings Trilogy fans!! Great sequel to the first movie!!

the main problem is that I have to wait for the next release. Yes, I'd recommend it to a friend but only if the friend were a Tolkein fan.

It's always worth it to wait for the extended version of the Hobbit or Lord of the Rings versions. The 3D is worth it on a 55" 1080 TV.

A lot of people who review movies, are really critical, and I think they miss the point, and that is, if you were entertained in watching the film, then then the Director did his job. You watch a movie to be entertained, nothing more, nothing less!

This was absolutely beautiful. The visuals were stunning, and the extended scenes, which were a whole story arc were amazing

Read the book several times and watched the first movie many times. Also saw this one in IMAX great movie was a must buy for our family!!!

This is one of the best movies ever! How could you not love the Hobbit! Elves, Hobbits, Golum, Orcs, and dwarfs! It's a amazingly awesome!
