Love the new hobbit movies, especially this one since it is in 3d. The picture is great in 3d and you can't go wrong with this purchase.

Whole family is big fan of "Lord of the Rings" and now "Hobbit" movies. Both "Hobbit" movies are fun and entertaining...great CGI effects

I purchased this item as a gift, and I love the Thorin Key that came with it. It's a great gift item for someone who loves The Hobbit!

We really enjoyed this movie, 3d was awesome. I was a little long, almost 3 hours, but changing of the disc provided a nice little break.

This is another great movie form Peter Jackson about "My Precious". The digital work in this movie is some of the best in any movie ever.

Great continuation of the series. Action packed and loved seeing the back story on some of my favorite characters from lord of the rings.

I'm not going to spoil anything, I was just a bit disappointed in how the movie ended. Overall, a solid movie from the director, cast and crew. Obviously you need to see it to enjoy the whole series. Just wasn't my favorite of the movies.

Love the story and the series, hope there is another. The hobbit, lord of the rings, Harry potter are all my favorites. Keep them coming.

Picked this up the 3D version because I like the added effect it has. The movie looks great in 3D, better than I remember in the theater.

Not necessarily as essential to the series as the LOTR extended editions, but nonetheless a fun, satisfying trip back to Middle Earth.

If you are a Tolkien fan, this is simply a must-have. Seeing the film in 3D blu-ray in your own home is quite stunning, I assure you.

I love Lord of the Rings. I haven't had a chance to watch these new hobbit movies yet though but I'm sure they're great.

The movie was great. and I can not wait for the next one. Bought at Best Buy and the day it came out was on sale as most new movies are.

This is one of the books that really got me started into reading. It does drift from the books a little, but still an amazing movie.

I loved seeing this film in the theatres, and it's so fun to rewatch it at home! The acting is great and it's a perfect mix of emotions.

Overall the movie was a good continuation from the original Thor and it had good special effects an action sequences. Sometimes it was hard to see what was going on in the dark scenes but it did not detract from the overall quality of the movie.

I bought The Lord of the rings trilogy and loved them watched the first hobbit and loved it too love this one too great for any audience

Awesome 2nd movie in the trilogy! I thought the dragon stole the show...they actually made him quite terrifying just as Smaug should be!

If you've read the book and expect it to follow them you'll be sadly disappointed. The movie adds a lot of stuff that was never in the books. If you've never read the book this movie will be very enjoyable but be prepared for a long movie.
