My favorite of the trilogy. Can't say enough about the Cumberbatch/Freeman dynamics - there's a reason Sherlock works so well.

The Hobbit movie series is great! I enjoy it as well as the Lord of The Ring Trilogy. I'm waiting on The Hobbit 3 movie to be released.

Great movie. The dvd also had a code to have it available for online watching anywhere I am, which is a nice feature to have.

By far the story line continues to be great with this second installment of the Hobbit. I highly recommend this movie.

The original book is 240 pages long and they are making 3 films out of it. This is a bit too long and drawn out in order to fill the time of each movie. It is a well made, enjoyable movie, but the whole thing would have been better in 2 films.

Nice addition to the DVD collection. If you are at all a *larp* enthusiast or into dungeons and dragons, this movie is a must have.

I love the original series with The Lord of The Rings. So far the first two movies have been great. Looking forward to the last movie.

Don't bother with the theatrical cuts of jackson's movies. Go see them in the theater then wait for the Extended editions everytime

Love story of elf and hobbit was out of place and not believable. The title does not match the movie as it was little about Smaug and was continued prior to any desolation. Those issues aside, it was an entertaining movie and worth the time.

I have been hooked on the Hobbit series since middle school, these movies are fantastically done and so much like the book

I thought the purchase was great, it was exactly what I was looking for. The specail features were astonishing. Definitely a good buy!

I didn't like that the dwarfs get there elfin weapons took away and have to make do with what's given to them besides that good movie.

This is a great film overall. Smaug looks incredible in 3D. Lots of behind the scenes footage. Looking forward to the extended edition

Like the entire series, a very well done movie. Just don't start watching late at night, it's another long one, you might fall asleep!
