If you are a fan of the series then this is a must add the additional clips help past a lot of the movie together.

It's What you can expect from a part of the lotr series of movies. If your a fan of those then odds are you will enjoy this.

I enjoyed the first installment, and this one carries the story forward. Too bad the final installment is not yet available.

Long like the 1st one but it keeps you entertained all the way through. You do not realize how long you have just sat there.

I had to get this movie, my daughter couldn't wait to see Cumberbatch as Smaug and to hear Ed Sheehan performing!

The movie was great, i am a fan of the hobbit so love the series but they could make some parts shorter so its not so long.

It's Blu-ray so the quality of the picture is great. I enjoyed this installment better than the first movie in the trilogy.

Watched in 3D. Great movie. Moves along pretty well with not many breaks in the action. Could have used more dragon though.

Even though I have always thought all the movies by Peter Jackson are too long, it is still a fine work. Let's face it, how do you get 6-8 hours of movie out of a book that I can read in 5 hours?? Still, I couldn't pass it up.

Awesome plot! Lots of action. Better than the first Hobbit film!! Smaug is awesome!!! I would highly recommend this movie!!

Love this 3D version of the Hobbit 2nd installment. Great book adaptation and love the action. Can't go wrong with Tolkein!

I was skeptical when Jackson chose to cover a 300 page book in three installments, but so far, he's doing an excellent job!

Not really much to say; a solid encoding. Video quality suffers a bit w/ all the darkness in the movie, but, thats nominal.

Peter Jackson pulled off a feat few directors of series fail and that is make each a stand alone by itself to be good.

Great movie with good plot, great acting, and awesome cinematography. These movies do not disappoint. However, if you are not a fan of the LOTR series or the 1st Hobbit, then this will most likely not be to your liking either.
