Watched the first one on HBO and immediately went and bought the next one because we couldn't wait for it to come on TV!

More middle earth! What more can you want? But now they are making me write more. 50 characters at least blah blah blah.

First let me say I Hate they broke this one masterpiece of a book into 3 movies. That being said they've added some back story that although not of Tolkien design isn't half bad and the cg affects are as always stunning.

I really enjoyed this film. Action packed with moments of humor and lots of memorable characters. Bring on part three!

Part two of another great trilogy. The extended version makes this movie make more sense than the theatrical version.

I'm very satisfied with the fact that it has tons of extras that are continuous from previous releases. However I'm worried something better will come along when they release the trilogy together... Just a thought

these movies are the best movies ever made. incredibly brilliant in 3D bluray, if you have the right tv and sound for it

I'm a little biased, but I'm a huge fan of the LOTR series. The first Hobbit movie seemed a little slow to me, but the "barrel scene" in this film more than makes up for that. A lot more action in this film. Recommended.

Excellent movie with a great adaptation from the book. The actors are great in bringing the book interpretation to life.

It follows the the book better then most movies. Its action packed and keeps you interested through out the entire movie

This sequel is better than the first movie. The video and filming was excellent and the surround system loved the audio.

Great quality blu ray at a reasonable price store attendant was very helpful in deciding between 3-D and regular bluray.

This bluray is what a bluray should be. Awesome picture with amazing clarity and the 7.1 soundtrack is just jaw dropping

I rented this movie a couple of times and watched it several times each rental, so, when I saw it at BB, I snagged it.

Liked the movie, and it would be good if it wasn't following in the shadow of the original LoR series, which had deeper characters and story and was overall much more compelling.

The second movie in the Hobbit trilogy was my favorite. From the acting to the special effects it was spot on!

I have genuinely enjoyed both the Hobbit movies. I think Martin Freeman makes a fine Bilbo Baggins. I also think Benedict Cumberbatch is a terrific Smaug. I always recommend getting the extended edition of these movies.

The Hobbit will go down in the future as a Movie like the "The Lord of the Rings Trilogy" as a classic fantasy Story.
