This is a really great movie. We have been patiently waiting for it to come out on Blu-ray so we could watch it again!

Peter Jackson never stops amazing you with what he can do with movies keeps you guessing, and I've read the book.

This was an excellent movie. It was visually stunning. The action scenes were top notch. I'd recommend this to anyone.

This is a great movie, acting and special effects are really great. Wish it was true to the book a little more though.

Because you just have to get every movie to complete the collection. And the extended versions are the ones to get. Even tho they make an already long movie longer, they are thr best way to see them.

Definitely enjoyed the movie (it was better than the first). Blue Ray is the way to go with movies that have a lot of special effects and animation as it just looks much better on my UHDTV and sounds better as well!

The Desolation of Smaug is a step up from An Unexpected Journey. The action and story definitely steps up a notch. Though the movie is a little too long for my taste it is a great watch and one to add to your collection.

This movie was just as stunning as the last Hobbit. 3D effects makes you feel like your right there in the action.

Love this movie and love having the extended version, can't wait for the final installment so I have them all!

I live the whole franchise. The effects are amazing and the 3d is gorgeous. Wish the third one would come out already.

this movie is just as good as all the others. lots of action and a good storyline. the ending keeps you wanting more.
