    Good action and buildup to reaching the mountain. The ending was a little abrupt, but left me wanting more.

    The movie was great in the theatres but even better at home. The DVD extras alone are worth purchasing this DVD.

    The 2nd installment in the Hobbit Trilogy was a great set up to the final film. The 3D for this movie fits well.

    The hobbit prequels are good to watch with older children. There are lessons of camaraderie, people are different but all are important. The writers expanded on the book but it is still a good movie to watch.
