The picture and sound quality if the films is incredible, everything I had hoped for on a 4K transfer. One star off for the packaging, however, which is incredibly cheap and lazy compared to the exquisite packaging of the DVD and Blu-Ray editions, which had sturdy slip cases and gorgeous artwork.

I have been upgrading select movies in my collection to Blu-ray and this was a given! 4K is the way to go for the Hobbit and LOTR series!

The Hobbit 4K movie collection, has great sound and picture I would recommend this to anyone that would put it in their movie library.

While this trilogy is not as good as The Lord of the Rings trilogy, they are still fun movies! And they look great in 4K HDR.

The Hobbit has never looked or sounded better. This is as close as we’re ever going to get to perfect. Massive improvement over the Blu-ray.

Quality is amazing to watch in 4K. You can see every little detail on their face. It was worth it to binge rewatch this entire movie again!!

Good 4k transfer. Nice that both Extended and Theatrical are included. Sound quality better than streaming. Watched on a Sony AH8 (OLED).

Finally its here and on glorious 4k super happy with everything picture quality sound quality dont wait or hesitate you won't regret it

Lotr whether its the first set or the last one is nother sort of spectacular in 4k.

Return to middle earth with this amazing Hobbit set in 4k. A must watch for TLOR fans.

These movies look amazing in 4K. This is an upgrade from my standard blu-ray (which I plan to keep for the bonus materials).

These movies are absolutely beautiful in 4k and hdr10, every single detail is popping thanks to my new 65 inch sony xbr950h.

Well done! Sometimes when u upgrade from older movies you don’t see much of a difference. Not the case here. Huge upgrade love it.

Loved it. Great quality and extended versions. No bonus material though so if you want that, look elsewhere.
