    Well, its not the Lord of the Rings, which is what I meant to purchase. Silly me, I grabbed the wrong package. All in all, this is a fun trilogy, if not as well done as the aforementioned trilogy. Its a good way to kill some a day.

    Both the picture and sound are outstanding! An excellent upgrade from Blu-ray, but the cost is extremely high for three movies that are not that recent.

    Returned because this version does not contain the bonus content of the blu ray release. Will wait to purchase when the "ultimate edition" is released this summer.
