Great but not as mind blowing as the LOTR remaster, still worth it if you have spending money

Products great, when it finally came in. Still waiting on my other order which is still not here and cant get any tracking info from anywhere. You would think paying nearly $200 you could get a little more information about it. Never had this much problem out of anything I've ordered.

I was duped by my love of J.R.R. Tolkien’s work. These movies are a sad representation of the theatrical and extended versions. 4K quality looks as if streaming a compressed version. Dolby Atmos does not have one single scene that kicks in my Atmos elevated speakers. Overall looks and sound of regular blu ray. Very disappointed for the price paid as compared to other 4K discs in my library. I only upped the star count from one because after all it is Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit.

For some reason I keep finding copies with bad Digital Codes. The QR code is different than the printed code and neither work. Printed Code is invalid and QR code states movie was redeemed 12/22 although I did not open the package until the 12/29. Contacted Warner Bros. Digital Support and their only response is to return the movie and exchange it for another. Maybe the 3rd time will be the charm.

Discs were all dislodged and sliding around inside the case. One disc was scratched.

I just bought this set and i absolutely loved every bit of it, not as good as the original but im a sucker for these tyoe of films.

The story line is fantastic. You will pause when leaving the room so that you don’t miss anything. Action packed.

Although not as good storywise as Lord of the Rings, they are great movies.
