If you like Jack Black, well you will like this movie. The script could have been better in the end of the movie, but you have to work with what you have. Color and sound was great. The sound track put you right in the movie if you have Atmos. This movie is different which is nice. But really not for all ages. There are a few seens that could have hit the cutting room floor. I am still glad I bought the movie ,just something different in my library.

Jack Black is as hilarious as ever. Cate Blanchett plays a role that is not her norm but as usual does a superb job. Not too scary for the little guys either. Great story and lots of fun.

The quality of the video and audio is great, but the movie itself wasn't that great. Had some very humorous parts and an interesting plot, but just didn't do it for me.

Lots of Twists and Turns. Fun, Magic, and Adventure. A bit Scary at times. A Witch and 2 Warlocks to solve the mystery of the Clock.

Kind of a quirky movie. The quality of the blue ray is good. Something to watch on a Friday or Saturday night.

Purchased for movie night, and have watched it 3 times. Kids keep asking to watch it again. One for the collection, definitely worth owning!

Since it stars Jack Black my grandson considers it a runner up to the new Goosebumps 2. He likes the movie, but, the one he's really waiting on is Goosebumps 2.

This is a great movie, and a nice rendition of one of my favorite books as a kid.

With Jack Black in it - you know that the movie is safe for kids less than 10 years old. My grandson enjoyed it thoroughly. It's funny as one might expect.

surprise movie of the year. Unbelievable dobly atmos track. A must watch in my opinion especially when you have a good theater.
