It's sometimes hard to continue story lines in a movie series but the hunger games keeps you wanting more and more. These characters have grown and will continue to grow and the actors do wonderful jobs portraying how that is supposed to really happen. Great movie I think it's a mist have.

I have watched The Catching Fire when the movie was in theater, the DVD came out, the Blue-ray came out, and now again the 4K came out. Each time I enjoy this excellent movie more with additional details. I love it and will watch over and over again - now in 4K!

This film is really more for my kids than me, but I have to admit that I enjoyed it more than the first movie. Seemed a little more to the point and the sense of tension built effectively from beginning to end. I don't quite understand the mania around the series, but it was a fun flick.

It was so long ago that I viewed part one that I couldn't remember what was going on with story. "I admit I'm not really a fan." Part one and part two has the same sanitized poor set design and cheesy plot but I did set through the movie without getting up. "That's hard for me to do." I wouldn't watch it again but I will see part three just to finish up the series. I would recommend this to a friend, but only if they were a fan of the books.

For those of you who read the books you know that the series is awesome! I found that the first movie didn't do the book justice. This movie was done so well, it was 1,000 times better than the first. It was done so well, the action sequences, the effects and it does follow the Bol well.

Very good movie. Looks really good in 4K the night scenes are easier to see due to the blacker colors with HDR. My wife watches these movies alot so I wanted to give her an upgrade from her bluray collection. Too bad they do not come in the SteelBook cases.

I honestly never shopped at best buy. Then I started winning cards at my job. So when I went in I saw how awesome y'all are. I got my galaxy s3 from best buy and was so glad to find I could pre order hunger games catching fire. Then I recieved it on the day it came out. You guys rock!!!!

I've been looking forward to all of the Hunger Games movies, having read the books first. The first movie was good but there was some decisions made to veer away from the book that I just didn't understand, like the color of the cat. I felt the second movie stuck a bit closer to the book in relation to the details, although they did take some liberties with character development. Overall I enjoyed Catching Fire even more than Hunger Games.

My family wanted something interesting to watch on a rainy evening and this was perfect. We had to go back and watch the first movie with our kids so they were caught up and then we watched the next two movies over the weekend. Can't wait for Mockingjay Part 2 to come out!

i love this movie! in fact, even though i liked the first one, i felt this one was 100 times better! the acting was great, it looked amazing, and i emotionally connected with the characters.this film is action packed and has a little bit of romance as well so that everyone can enjoy it.

Catching fire is the sequel to Hunger Games and a must see film.Action, thrill and suspense was awesome! Includes sad moments like when Mags dies in the fog.My favorite scene was the end involving Katniss! A must see film! Can't wait untill the next sequeal in this intriguing adventure!

The visuals in this movie is superb. Francis Lawrence's eye for cinematography is beyond words. The transition to a new director was not at all noticeable. The movie kept true to the book, which is a plus and happy they kept the Katniss and Finnick scene exactly the same. Awesome movie!

The first movie was good, but Catching Fire really gets you going. Great action and follows the book very well, best part is you aren't in Katniss's head the whole time. Seeing her start the revolution through film is just cool cool cool. Just you wait for the last shot. Ewwwww so good.

Bought this for my sister and she loved it. I am a huge fan of metal cases and normally prefer to buy in store so that way I can see if it is dented or not, but they shipped it fine and it looked perfect when I got it. Thanks for letting me be able to give my sister a great gift.

A great movie meets a very cool package. catching fire is the 2nd film in the hunger games series and it surpasses the first film in every way. Lush colors and hi def sound make this a no brainer for those who enjoy action packed films with with lots of color and edge of your seat fun.

Hunger Games: Catching Fire is the second of the four Hunger Games movies (based on the three Hunger Games books). While I felt the movie "rushed" through some of the more detailed plot in the book, it was a very good representation and was definitely a movie worthy of my collection. The Best Buy exclusive Steelbook case is awesome, and looked so good I actually re-purchased the first one just for the case (and the low price didn't hurt).

I loved the Hunger Games Trilogy in book form and this film brings the characters and storyline to life in a huge way! It follows the book fairly accurately within the time constraints. The actors have great chemistry and the film captures both the humanity and inhumanity of the story.

For some reason, I sense our modern day themes (war, segregation, civil unrest, recession, oppression, etc) being reflected in this movie. Splendid and well done and you cannot go wrong with this selection. It is hard not root for the villain because more intrigue is desired.

First off, I realize that adaptations can't get everything. However, "Catching Fire" does a good job of catching the "mood" of the book. Sure, some stuff was out of place. It usually is. But the screenwriters here did a great job. Jennifer Lawrence is awesome as Katniss. Josh Hutcherson is awesome as Peeta Woody Harrelson is awesome as Haymitch. and of course, Elizabeth Banks is awesome as Effie. The casting of this movie was dead on.

I got this movie as soon as it came out; therefore, I got it at a great price since it was on sale. The entire movie isn't shot in IMAX quality and so the entire film isn't in full-screen. Parts of it are wide-screen and that does get a little annoying...not an issue for most, though.
