I really like this movie. I thought it was better with more action and drama then the first one. This movie makes you want to read the books if you haven't and can't wait for the next movie. It continues the story from the first one and continually adds twists and turns. this is a great movie that the whole family will like.

While I didn't read the books, I did enjoy the first movie (though probably to a lesser extent than many) however this one was even better. I saw Battle Royale when it came out so seeing the first Hunger Games really just seemed like an American remake of that, it wasn't until I saw the sequel that I realized there was a lot more to the overall story. Blu-ray quality was pretty great on this one, I particularly liked when the games started and the aspect ratio opened up to the 70mm IMAX scope.

The Hunger Games series has been great so far. And with Catching Fire, we are once again thrown into the world of Panem. The movies stay very true to the books in my opinion. As for this particular version I purchased. I love collecting the Steel Book cases that Best Buy releases. Wish they would do this with more movies.

I watched the orginal Hunger Games not knowing what to expect and really enjoyed it. This is a great, and logical, continuation of the series. I know this was a Young Adult novel, and having never read the books, I wonder if that angle is downpalyed in the movies because it did not seem like what I expect of a YA movie (which I tend to avoid, not being a YA!). I love the setting and the dystopian future, and of course the 75th games was well done. I am really looking forward to the sequel(s).

I bought this movie for my teen daughter's sleepover. I ended up watching the movie before handing it off to the girls. The movie was much better than I had expected, the plot was good, the storyline flowed well and just enough action to keep me interested. I did not like the ending because now I have to see the next one.

First time I tried to watch this movie I couldn't get into it. I have children and I thought about the scenario of the movie and I could not watch it thinking of my own children being killed or forced to Kill. I later found myself watching it, putting my head in the idea of "it's just a movie". I loved it!

No spoilers here, so ok to read on. I like certain types of movies, and the first one fell into one of those categories. After watching the second movie, it's looking like it's falling into my fave type. I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't read the books, so I'm dying to know how this series concludes on the big screen.

Great movie; however, you really need to see "Hunger Games" first, in order to fully understand what is taking place and why. The opening sequence, dealing with Katniss Everdeen's PTSD, is exceptional. Hard to fathom how a twenty-year-old Jennifer Lawrence could understand those feelings so well.

Catching Fire: The second act of the Hunger Games trilogy. A fine performance from all the players, includnig Jennifer Lawrence, Woody Harrelson, Donald Sutherland, Josh Hutcherson and the final performance of Philip Seymore Hoffman. A can't miss show if you've enjoyed the first one and can't wait for the third movies.

This is a great sequel to The Hunger Gamers. I love that we have a movie with a solid female role model for girls. I didn't read the book so I have no idea how closely the story follows it, I just know I was on the edge of my seat up until the end. My daughter and I just said "wow, what a great movie" when it was over.

Hunger games Catching fire is a excellent film. Due to subject matter I wouldn't let younger children watch this movie. The plot was easy to follow and understand. Kept you guessing as to what is going to happen next. Acting was second to none. I'm happy I purchased my copy. This movie you have to see more than once,

My wife and I thought it was a great movie. kept you wanting more. kept you in suspense during the whole movie trying to follow and figure out who was going to die or live and who were the good guys besides Katness. Not recommended for younger children because of all the people killing people. great for teens and up.

I bought this Blu-ray movie as a gift for my daughter. She has seen all the movies in this series. It has an excellent story and the actors are really good. It is suspenseful and riveting. I really like that Best Buy has the option to buy online and pick up in store. Also, I like the payment option of using Paypal.

If you were a fan of the 1st movie then you will enjoy this one as well. It stays fairly true to the book. Catching fire will keep you engaged right from the get go. It keeps your attention without slowing down. The only downside is that when it ends you wont be able to wait till the next movie, to see what happens.

This is a good sequal to the original movie.Lots of action that will keep you on the edge of your seat.Lots of twists and turns that will keep you guessing , will the two stars make it out alive.Great sound separation and detail from all directions.Just wish the movie was made in 3d.Glad it came out in steelbook.

Hollywood did this one right. Exciting on the edge of your seat plot, cinematography top notch, acting was surprisingly refreshing to watch. And I loved that a happy gramma could watch the movie with her teen grandchildren without blushing! Best Buy sale pricing was just the icing on the cake with this purchase!

I rushed out to get this movie as I did not get the chance to see it in theaters. After reading the books I was very curious how this would be transferred to the big screen. It did not disappoint me. Just like the first movie, I was sucked in from the beginning as I watch the characters come to life. Great movie!

I have to say Catching Fire is far better than the Hunger Games. They've upped the action and suspense in the second installation. And I really like that they are following the books. What makes this purchase even better is I didn't have to ship the movie as Best Buy will price match just about anything for me (;

I did not read any of the books, but loved the first movie of the series. I wasn't sure if they would be able to meet such high expectations after having such an awesome first movie...did they ever. It kept you in suspense the entire time, and wanting more when it ended. I can't wait for the next one to come out.

It's a well executed follow up to the first film/book. Lots of action and suspense. The bluray has lots of nice special features. I especially like the steelcase as it has a nice presentation and also comes with a digital ultraviolet copy as well. If you liked the first film then you ahould like this one as well.
