My daughter and I realy enjoyed this movie. We have watched it several times . We are ready to see the next part of the movie. I recommend this movie to any one that aw part one. This is the second movie and it was better than the first one . Just a great movie loved it.

The movie was surprisingly good. Because of film time constraints, many of the book's scenes could not be portrayed. But all in all, the screenwriter did a good job of capturing the most important scenes with little deviation from the book. In addition, the actors were great.

If you loved the first Hunger Games movie then you are in for arrest with the second movie. The storyline picks up right where the first one left off and keeps you guessing till the end. For all the ladies who are not big action or fantasy fans there is a love story as well

One of those rare instances where the sequel outdoes the first film in every way. The story is advantaged by having us already know the characters and so we don't need to spend time explaining the basics of the world we're exploring. Even rarer, this may be an even better adaptation of the source material. Tight, focused, and leaves you wanting to see the next in the series all the while maintaining credit to itself.

The action sequences and associated graphics were very well done. The some of the plot twists were surprising and I enjoyed the movie a great deal. I would definitely recommend it to others and have already watched it three times catching new things each and every viewing.

Bought this DVD as a gift for my sister's birthday. I'd never been interested in the films or the books. She asked me to watch it with her and I was hooked within the first 30 minutes! Now i'm right there with the other crazy fans waiting for the next movie to be released!

This blu-ray was pretty much exactly what I expected. The audio and visuals were great and the price was great for what you get. The special features are plentiful and they even give you a sneak peek at Divergent. If you're a fan of the series, definitely pick this one up.

Purchased when it went on sale. Played without a hitch first in a 2 year old Samsung, then a 3 year old Insignia, and lastly in 5 year old Samsung. Absolutely no problems. Video is top notch and audio is good. Did not get the sense of being immerse in the audio, seemed most of the sound field is in front of you but sounded good to my ears. Playback was through a Yamaha RX-V571, Yamaha speakers and a Samsung UN60FH6003

I enjoyed this sequel very much. The main characters really showed the human side of this time and in the things they faced. You, the viewer, really get to feel a real connection to the players. I did not care for the way this movie ended, but understand why. 2 thumbs up!

A nice follow-up to the original Hunger Games. Looking forward to the two-part Mockingjay finale to the Hunger Games series. Appreciated the fact that we didn't have to deal with watching special features on another disc as this blu-ray version had everything in one disc.

I saw this movie in theaters and instantly knew I had to buy it when it came out. I was wrapped up in the story and all the twist/turns made me enjoy it much more. With the ending I will be eagerly awaiting the upcoming movie in theater. In my opinion this is a must buy!

Great movie. Love the combo packs. Able you use the blue-ray when at home for the ultimate experience. Able to use DVD version when at friends house where blue-ray may not be available. And when traveling, I can watch online via ultra violet. A format for every scenario.

As far as installment movies go, this was very well done. They may have an issue with installment 3 in light of Hoffman's passing, but I'm hoping for the best as the movies to date have been very well done. Best Buy, as always, had lots of copies in stock on release day.

Catching fire was better than the 1St hunger games. There was tons of action and drama to go with it. You felt glued to your seat wanting to see what happens next. I really want to see what happens between Katness and Peta.I can't wait to see what happens in Mocking Jay.

This movie is the second part of the Hunger Games Blu-ray collection. The special effects, sound quality and better acting warrant a close to two hours of enjoyable entertainment. It is a movie for the whole family and for the price it is indeed a bargain.

I loved the first movie and love this one (can't wait for the last one now). I have read the books and the movie is pretty close to the books. There are some variances, but I think they are done to help keep the movie going. The only thing I don't like is that it seems it is over so quick. I think this is because it the TV running and never stops, always on edge to see what is happening. I would recommend to anyone.

Hunger Games: Catching Fire will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. At the films conclusion I was disappointed only because I wanted the action to continue. The story line never has a lull. It leaves you anticipating the final installment's arrival.

My daughter read all the books and when she told me she wanted to watch the movie i thought it would be boring...boy was i wrong, great movie part one and part two cant wait for the next one, will even read all the books myself!! Thanks Best Buy for the steelbook cover!

After watching the first part of this trilogy (The Hunger Games), it's a must-see to watch this movie! Good action, good twist, unpredictable ending and nice performance of J. Lawrence! Now, it's a must-see the conclusion of the trilogy (Mocking Jay)....

I highly recommend this sequel to the mega-hit, The Hunger Games. Catching Fire sees Katniss and Peeta return to face an all new set of challenges in the 75th Hunger Games. An all-star cast helps fuel the excitement and terror of this film. Definitely worth a purchase.
