Rarely is a sequel as good as the original but this one does not dissapoint. Of course some won't like the end because it obviously leaves it wide open for a third movie. I glad I was able to get the steelbook version and I look forward to future releases.

new battle field, wepons and the unforseen make this movie the better then the first. love the interaction between the combations, and the problums that thay face makes for a verry enjoyable movie to watch. keeps you guessing all the time on what is next.

It's a good movie. Why I like it, I don't know since it has children killing children. Too much like child sacrifice, which could be considered Satanic. However it is not a Satanic movie. It shows the compassionate side of Katniss. I've recommended it to my adult daughter (whom I can talk to about it), but not sure I would recommend it to the general public.

This is a great action movie packed w/ a lot of excitement and drama at the same time. The actors/ actresses in film were very true to their characters. It was sad to see Phillip Seymore Hoffman in this role not realizing it would be his last. Good actor.

I loved this series. Happy to see that the movies are following the story line pretty close. As for why I didn't like the ending was because we weren't ready for the movie to be over. We were very into the movie that we didn't realize it had been 2 hours.

I thought this was a good sequel to the first movie. The books aside it was not easy to bring back the emotion of the first movie because they story isn't as shocking the second time around. I thought that some scenes were rushed just to get the movie done in a reasonable amount of time. I imagine the director's cut version would be 4 hours long. Recommend owning if you bought the first movie.

Catching Fire is an outstanding sequel to Hunger Games. The cast is stellar and the action non-stop. Plot twists and turns--even up through the final scene--keep the audience engaged. It leaves you waiting impaciently for the next movie in the franchise.

This movie depicts the need to stand up for the underdog in life. It takes the fellow man standing together against wrong to make it right for everyone. Through love and commitment to justice as well as caring about peoples rights you will be triumphant.

Loved the Hunger Games book series. The movies are great so far as well. I was happy that I could get the steel book with just the blueray and digital copy. I get annoyed that most movies you get the dvd as well, I don't need the dvd. Buy it and enjoy :)

This is a great movie sequel. The storyline was good and let us know what happened when the cameras stopped rolling after the first one. It was full of action. And, it was nice seeing the new teams and the twist. Cant wait for the third one to come out.

Catching Fire is another strong installment in this confident series. Structurally, it’s hard not to notice the close similarity to the first film, but within that familiar framework, there are some very emotional moments, delivered by a wonderful cast.

I may just like this more than the first movie. The tone is darker and they reflect that in the mood and atmosphere really well. Great acting as before. My biggest worry about this series is what are they going to do without Phillip Seymour Hoffman now?

I loved these books and was excited when I heard they were going to make them into movies. The first one was a little slow but good for character development. This movie was great. Just the right pace and kept you on the edge of your seat until the end.

This series had me hooked from the first. I got totally involved with the characters and the plot. To me it took a lot from WWII on the European front but with all the fantasy and sci-fi that I like. Am really looking forward to the third installment.

It's a great movie, as the story really begins to evolve into something much bigger than what happened in the first movie. The extras on the disc are pretty interesting. I love the behind the scenes looks at what it takes to create a movie like this.

I have seen the first Hunger Games and enjoyed It. This being the second was a must see. I bought it, watched it and loved it. I quickly went and purchased the third (Mocking Jay part 1). In case you were wondering that to is a great movie.

Good for all ages, keeps you on your toes! My sister has watched this movie so many times.. it just never gets old. Quite a surprising second movie, best sequel I've seen in awhile. Keeps close reference to the books. Love the characters they picked!!

The collect steelbook case is very sturdy and good if you wish to keep as a collectors series. Also it was great that even though it didnt come with the DVD copy, a email address was provided and they mailed a DVD copy so nice if you want both copies.

As a reader of the series I must say that the films are darn close to the novel. However I think that certain parts should have been elaborated on. No spoilers here. This movie will lot disappoint and will leave you anxious up until the last minute.
