This was highly anticipated by my 2 older kids,15 & 12. We did not see it at the movies. But, it is a good DVD purchase. I was a little concerned about this second movie but now I'm looking forward to the third movie.

The second chapter in this movie series is definitely more in line with the book than the first. The acting is a lot better as well. I can appreciate that it was a vast improvement, and can't wait for the third movie.

Excellent movie! Follows the book very well, there were some (non-vital) parts left out - but of course it's rare that a movie catches every detail of a book. Great acting, and excellent casting of the new characters.

This a good movie which leaves you wanting more at the end. Looks like the next sequence in the series. I did have trouble getting the UV redemption code to work. Contacted customer service and they were able to help.

I'm really glad I picked this up. I'm a huge fan of the Hunger Games and this steel book is a perfect addition into my collection. It doesn't have a lot of bonus material but the steel book collectors aspect saves it.

Having both read and seen Hunger Games, I can honestly say that Hollywood didn't take too many liberties. For the most part, all they did was leave a few minor things our, or downplay the violence of the books.

This is a great sequel unlike some book to movie series. I can't wait for the next movie to come out although I'm really saddened that Philip Seymour Hoffman is no longer living but I was really glad to learn that the majority of his scenes were already filmed for both of the last 2 movies so he will get to finish what he started. Awesome!!!

The movie has done good at following the last movie! Jumped right back into things from the last but was a little slow towards the middle! Finished pretty good and makes you ready to see the next movie in the series.

This movie improves on the first installment, which was also a good movie. The action is well paced and acting well done. Jlaw is amazing once again. The final scene puts an exclamation mark on the whole performance!

First movie was kind of distrubing ... kids getting killed and all. Way to unbelievable. This sequel has a better grown up adventure feel. The scifi effects are great and you find yourself in the movie before realize it's just a movie. The supporting actors are great. Heard the next sequel is actually going to be two ... might be a bit much.

Overall this movie was better-than-expected where most sequels fail to do so. I say it is a s good as the first Hunger Games movie. Although much of the book was left out, it is understandable due to the time factor.

This has to be one of my favorite movies. I love how the director decided to shoot it on film instead of digitally like so many are done these days. You can really get a feel of the emotion in each of the characters.

The movie was made well with plenty of effects, The story however is a bit of a downer, It's constant emphasis is the negative feelings left over after the first movie. Scene after scene and city after city it is the same which is borderline boring. But the action is the action we love to see and the ending has you waiting for the next one.

I read the books and thought they were great. The movies have not disappointed me at all. Great action, great actors, great special effects. Simply loved the way her dress turned into the Mocking jay with the wings.

Great movie- I love the whole series. Hunger Games, Mocking J and Catching Fire. If you buy 1, you'll want them all so you can see how it all turns out. Great series. But watch out there is violence.

After seeing the 1st one, i couldn't resist getting this one. The 1st one was really good, & despite sequels usually being a letdown, i thought this one was still pretty good. It's easy to cheer for katniss & peeta.

Another movie in the Hunger Games series, I watched it with my 17 year old Grandson. Lots of action. I do not recommend for young children. Kids killing kids is not something I would want young children to see.

Enjoyed this movie better than the first one and I loved the first one. Looking forward to Mockingjay. Decided to read the books as well. Haven't been able to check out all the extras but kind of wish they had more.

Personally I believe this is the best one of the series. I love the action and story line of Catching Fire, the acting is on point and lastly the movie is fast paced enough that you never lose interest.

The story was great, and the suspense was fantastic at times, but the story line stopped too suddenly at the end of this movie. It took two hours to get to the last fifteen minutes and then those fifteen minutes sped by in a blink, suddently stoppping the story. Less background leading up to the end, and more action would have been better.
