This movie did not live up to the standard of the first one, nor does it quite stand on it's own. However it's a decent enough follow up. Top quality picture, and possibly reference quality audio on blu-ray. Recommend for genre fans.

The move was OK, but I was somewhat disappointed at the way it ended. I know they want to keep you interested in the next episode, but this was too abrupt and didn't close out this episode as I would have liked.

The movie is definitely worth watching. The original idea for the series of movies is very fresh, but the storyline is starting to get stagnant. The dialogue is just ok and the acting leaves some to be desired.

This is infinitely better than the first movie in the series in regards to acting, effects...pretty much everything. None of that up-close camerawork during the action scenes that was so nauseating during the first movie.

Good action movie but seemed to drag on for a while. Hate the clifhanger, but definately got me to buy the last book to see what happen Plus the deal they had on getting both movies, and who doesn't steel book movies!

Good movie, better than the first, I didn't get into it until halfway then it ended and it left me wanting more, yea so I have to have 50 characters for this review so I'm just gonna type this and hopfully it's 50.

movie did not end on a high the way the previous hunger games movie did. i was expecting to feel good about what happened but i was left with a feeling that i didnt even know which direction the next movie will go.

I like the movie the plot was well written but the overall story took forever to develop. The fact that the games is like 15 minutes as opposed to the original movie where it jumped right in to the games.

This was a good movie, but I will have to say the first hunger games was my favorite. But I think they did a good job, I will say read the books first though. They are amazing!!!!!

although a bit predictable it produces a better plot sequence. okay entertainment for a time filler afternoon movie. just cannot buy in to another long term trilogy about future warring classes.

wouldnt spend money on this movie series again. besr to wait for it to come out on netflix instead of buying it. plus when it says it can be itunes digital, yeah that doesnt work at all

Liked the movie, however, I couldn't make it to best buy on release day so I placed a pickup order for both hunger games movies in Steelbook blu ray special editions. I picked up the order 3 days later and was told at checkout that I was getting the last 2 steel books in the store. It wasn't until I got home that i realized that the "catching fire" case was indented severely at the top and bottom of the case. This was my entire reason for choosing best buy to purchase these movies. I guess since I got yet last one, I'm out of luck.

This installment of the hunger games trilogy was lacking. I LOVED this book but the movie just missed so many of the good parts-it could have been broken into two like mockingjay
