The Special effects worked well and seemed realistic. The plot was fairly predictable. You saw the one character and just knew she was going to die quickly once the game started. Some the training scenes felt like they were inserted for filler.The end held a bit of a surprise and left a good setup for the next episode.

I enjoyed the movie overall the scenes were great really enjoyed the first movie and with this one it was fine. The steel book was nice and pretty cool. But overall my I enjoyed the movie non the less

I am huge fan of the Hunger Games books series. Sometimes, I am disappointed at the movie translations of books but not this time. You won't be disappointed, even if you didn't read the books.

The movie, in general, is amazing. It had so many twists and turns that were very unexpected. A must see movie! The ending I did not like so much because now we have to wait for part 3 to come out. I think that's the worst part of the whole movie. So, if you haven't seen part 2 yet, I would wait until part 3 comes out.

This movie fits perfectly into the pure entertainment category. There is a message, but you don't really have to worry about it. The story moves at a good pace and there is lots of action. The main characters are all well played. Just buy it for an escape for a couple of hours and watch it again every once in a while.

The Hunger Games series so far are very close to the books though the books are much better. Read the book right before you see the movie so you can watch what you visualized while reading the books.

Part 2 of 3, it was better than the first. It ended on a cliffhanger however, which sort of irritates the viewer. Action, suspense and a flash of romance make this movie's second part worth watching.

This movie followed the line of the first Hunger Games, and was overall a really enjoyable movie. We will be anxious now for the next in the series to come, and will be sure to get it once it is out.

This movie is very good, I was glad it stayed mostly true to the book but did have a few glaring things left out imo, namingly Platrich not showing Katniss his watch with the mockingjay symbol on it

The sequel to the hunger games is much better. They have more kills in this one and you really get to see Katniss skills with the bow. Most of all the cast is back and the late Phillip Seymour Hoffman adds a nice touch as a villian. The steelbook is a nice collectors addition. Add this film to your bluray collection.

This movie was a great sequel to the popular book series of the same name. I have not read the book but I hear they stuck to the same story and didn't change much from te book. I overall enjoyed it.

The movie was very well done and I felt followed the book better than most 'book to film' movies. The acting is incredible along with the cinematography. Incredible movie that I watch over and over.

I loved the disc art and the art inside the steel book packaging. It goes so well with the movie. Because I bought this one, I now want to buy the first movie with the steel book packaging as we'll.

I was taken aback by the quality of this movie, even in comparison to the first. It had perfect casting choices and had a cliffhanger that left me wanting the next installment to be in theaters now!

My kids and I saw the first movie "The Hunger Games" and we read the books. We are big fans of the story. There is a lot of action, but not a lot of blood. We can't wait for the rest of the movies.

The movie picks up right where it left out from the first movie. The end of the movie ends up you wanting more. We are going to have to wait two more years for the conclusion, Nice Steelbook case!!
