The first movie of the franchise has a story that sucks you in and makes you root for the underdog. Knowing that it's Jennifer Lawrence only makes it better. She's fantastic!

My self and my kids have watched all of the movies, this one is just as wonderful as the rest. It is getting harder to find wholesome videos that the whole family can enjoy. Thanks!

The movie was awesome! I watched it NONSTOP. The story plot is great and the characters are amazing. The actors did great acting, and I felt like I was a tribute in the 74th Hunger Games.

Compared to "The Hunger Games" this movie has better graphics and more complicated setting to the movie. I am giving this movie only four stars is because of the story line. I think the story line is very good I just think the movie fell a little short.

Its the first in the trilogy so its a must see before the next two. While it is not the book it is still a good fast action film. As for the extras they are a little disappointing because would have liked some extended scenes or something not just interviews.

A lot of anticipation awaited Hunger Games when it came out. The movie did not disappoint. Definitely watch The Hunger Games and Catching Fire before watching the final two movies.

The best part of owning your own copy is that you notice in theaters there were some scenes you might've missed or overlooked and even misunderstood which open your eyes in amazement.

I really enjoyed all of these films in the series from beginning to end. Its a good family movie movie as well (if your kids are older) as there is something for everyone.

Great start to the Hunger Game movie franchise. The characters are well developed and the story is very well told. The movie makes you care about the characters and their struggles. This movie sets the bar high for the rest of the franchise to live up to.

Great movie for older teens and adults. My 17 year old Grandson loves the series. I would not recommend for young children. Kids killing kids is not what they should be watching.

I loved this film and wanted my own copy. A great deal at Best Buy helped me make my film collection more complete. Highly recommended and well acted part one of the series.

The concept has been explored by the classic Battle Royale, but it's still a nice take on the genre. Nice pacing and great action.

Kept my attention the entire time. Watched this one on DVD but can't wait for the DVD now, so heading to the theater for the next one!! My son and his wife now have the DVD to watch!!

I upgraded each of the movies in this awesome series from DVD to Blu-Ray; it was well worth the investment.

This first installment to the Hunger Games movie saga is excellent. If you've seen it, then you know. If you haven't then you must watch. You'll enjoy for sure.

Given the acting was slightly lacking, the Hunger Games remains a very good series of movies to have. The movies so far have been good to watch with exciting plots and characters.

Never read any of the books went to go see the movie, wife and I fell in love with the story and characters. Best buy steel case is sweet makes it look like a collectors edition.

You don't need me to tell you about "The Hunger Games"-- it's a good film. The blu-ray transfer is great and the special features are almost as long as the film proper. Worth watching!
