I was skeptical about this movie. I really didn't know what to expect and I it did not disappoint. Mind you I have not read the books, but to me this movie as a movie is outstanding.

I bought the movie from all the talk about the series of books. I did not see it at the movies and thought fore the price & the digital copy it would be a good buy

I love buying items from best buy as I always know I can return the product if I want or If thre is a problem with the device I can always return it with no questions asked

Very good movie. Has quite a lot of violence. If the child can read the book then they are old enough to watch the movie. Otherwise this is definitely a teen and up movie.

If you love steelbooks this one will make a good edition to your collection and a great movie nonetheless. However please note that it comes with a single Blu-Ray and not the 2 disc on the regular edition. Something to know ahead of time.

Loved the whole series and the visuals are amazing in 4k. This movie was my favorite in the series, but I couldn't resist getting all four on sale.

This package is a great deal because it has regular DVD and Blue-Ray DVDs. I share it with my mom who has a regular DVD player and I have a Blue-Ray DVD, we both get a movie from it.

I got this because they had it on sale for $5 if you also bought Catching Fire. This movie is great . I think the steelbook version costs a little more than the regular one so you just have to decide if you care about what kind of case it's in.

Never saw these movies in the theater but black friday deals enticed me to watch them. Glad that I did because they do stand up to being re-watched, as that is usually my criteria for buying DVDs.

At first it's depressing seeing the brutality that mankind is capable of but then you see a glimpse of the better side and it brings out the fighter in you for goodness.

Katness takes her place among the great action heros from any decade. The entire series is great. It's well worth the time to watch these movies.

I've read the books. Was surprised at how closely the movies have followed them - so far at least. Glad Mockingjay was split. Can't wait to get the whole movie series.

In my opinion by far the best Hunger Games movie. It captures the elements of the story to be told beautifully and sets the franchise up for its success.

Entertaining start to Hunger Games series. As with any moving adaption from a book, not all of the detail can be included and this is not exception. That being said, this is a good start to the series, capturing the emotion found in the book.

I didn't read the books, but I thoroughly enjoyed the movies. This is the first in a 4 movie series followed by Catching Fire, Mockingjay Pt 1 and Pt 2.

My wife and I seen this movie in the theaters and really like it so we had to own it. Even better than it was in the theater because I can pause to get more popcorn. :)

We bought this movie for my pre-teen daughter. She has been reading the book series and loves them. While not as good as the book, this is a movie that engages the viewer. Even if you have not read the books, you will still enjoy this movie.

My daughter read the series so quickly. Was great to see her read so fast and take AR tests and then she saw the movies and it was fun watching her compare to the books.

The Hunger Games is an excellent movie for teenagers and above. The movie's special effects and storyline are great and keep your interest from beginning to the end.

I can't believe anyone has not seen this movie yet. But for those who have not, it is one of my favorite Sci-Fi movies. And I am hardcore male sci-fi fan...
