Such an excellent series and this movie does not let your hopes down at all. From the beginning you are on the edge of your seat waiting for what's going to happen next. While I'm not too fond of the new "standard" of splitting the last movie of the trilogy into two parts, it does make for a more in-depth and more robust movie.

Good movie, great acting. This 3rd in the series slows the story down a bit to allow for a 4th movie yet to come, but that also allows more details to be included from the book. All 3 so far have been faithful to the great book series, and have been riveting to watch. If you loved the books, you will like these movie versions.

First off, I have to say that I have nothing bad to say about the movie packaging or format... my "beef" is with the movie itself. It was already the weakest (in my opinion) of the 3 books, and for the studio to make the decision to split it into 2 movies was a poor one. What we are left with is really HALF of a movie, that we paid full price for. I bought it to have the entire collection.

Several Twists and turns but the revolution is now in full swing...The Capital seems to have the upper hand and of course we are left with many questions to be answered this coming November...Right now things look Peta-ville for the rebels....what will there plan be? Part 1 pulled us in and makes us hunger and game for more

Continuing the run of special Hunger Games SteelBook editions exclusively at Best Buy, this is a great presentation of the third excellent adaptation of the Suzanne Collins books based around Katniss Everdeen and the troubled Districts of Panem. More than an hour of bonus features, well worth checking out. Bring on Part 2!

I pre-ordered this film and picked it up from my local Best Buy. I had no issues with in-store pickup, it was fast and easy. The steel collectors case is cool and the digital copy is compatible with iTunes, which is convenient as there is no separate apps or software needed like there is with Ultra Violet digital copies.

Movie was great. Story line was a continuation of the previous movie set. If you liked the series, you'll love this. Picture quality was as good as other blue rays. Displayed great on my sonk 4K TV. Sound quality was what you expect of blue ray. An overall excellent movie entertainment experience. I highly recommend it.

Great movie series ! I love being able to see behind scenes, deleted scenes and different things from the movie that DVD's have to offer and the only way to do that is to buy the movie. My family couldn't wait to get home and watch it again. We seen it in the theater and own every one that has come out on DVD so far.

This movie is essentially a necessary transition from the individual hunting and killing of the first two films to the eventual revolution which will occur in the last film. There is a small amount of social commentary - is the new society really going to be that much better than the old, and the theme seems to be more global than the personal story of Katnis and her survival.

This was my favorite film in the series. While not spoiling what happens, J-Law should be awarded for each of her performances...she is simply epic. This film feels smarter and sharper than the other two, perhaps it is the change of scenery...perhaps it is the expansion into new characters, but it works for me.

Not having read the books, I was glad to see that they were not back into "gaming". This continuation of the revolution was very good. Camera work, special effects, pace the whole thing was excellent. I just wonder what they will do with P.S. Hoffman's role. Some good touching scenes, along with the action. I loved it.

I'm not a fan when studios break up the last book of a series into two films most times because you often get a film that filled with "filler" content. Out of the films in the series, this is my least favorite but obviously because I have all the rest I had to buy this one.

This movie is worth the purchase to see. It continiues the story. Without giving away any spoilers, I enjoyed the 3rd book the least. My rankings of the books are 2nd, 1st, and 3rd. Surprisingly this movie made the story for the Part 1 of the 3rd book quite interesting. Can't wait to see how the 2nd half will be done.

I loved this Best Buy steelcase cover art and the price of $19.99. It comes with the same content as the regular edition but in a much cooler case. As far as the movie goes, I think it is the best one yet. Sure, not as much action as the first two movies but the plot and character development was the best so far, IMO.

This movie continues after the latest Hunger Games held by the Capital. Katniss is dealing with post tramatic stress, being a symbol of hope for the districts, and being strong for her family. She must rise to the occasion and give people hope for a brighter future as they face the upcoming war with the Capital.

She is a die hard Hunger Games fan! She loves the special Best Buy exclusives! She said this was the best birthday gift ever!!

If you are a fan of the Hunger Games series you will like this installment. You will need to see the first two as there is no review from the other movies. It starts where Catching Fire left off. Lots of excitement and suspense along the way. Quite a bit darker than the other two, but that is the story. I enjoyed it.

I found the book to be very morbid. I struggled with finishing it. I wasn't really interested in the movie and I went because my friend wanted to go. I never felt sad or unpleasant during the movie. I found it more exciting and I definitely recommend it. The setting is just so different from the first two. I'm looking forward to the finale. I had to add the video to my collection.

It is hard to watch a movie based upon a book you love- movies almost never do your imagination (and expectations) justice. If you are not comparing this to the book, you will not be disappointed. It is a thrilling watch! Also- iIt looks AMAZING in bluray... If you are wavering between that and the DVD... don't hesitate to spend the extra bit for this one. The action looked great!

I enjoyed this movie because it has lots of action and it keeps me at the edge of my seat! I definitely would recommend this movie to anyone.....especially parents and family. This is definitely my top favorite movie since it came out and I have already watched it a lot. I was so excited that the movie was finally out and I got it the first day it came out! I love this movie!!!!
