This movie was made to extend the three part story to four parts so $$$ is made! Two hours to tell a one hour story. What I saw wasn't terrible just stretched out and could of been better.

This movie spent a lot of time setting up for Part 2. The movie was good overall, and I really liked the fact that the whole series was at a level I could let my young teenager view.

There are a few OK scenes in the movie but it is mostly filler. I basically bought this to get the nice steelbook packaging and so I will have a complete collection after getting part 2.

Unfortunately, with most trilogies a story can die as it gets to the end. For this series, they faded over time. I didn't find this one as entertaining as the others. Very unfortunate.

I made the mistake of readings the book before this final chapter of the series and won't be doing that again. While a good movie it was quite a let down after a great sequel.

I have read all the books and I find the movies compelling. There is no impurity in this series, but there is suicide and the allusion to suicide. Something of a tradeoff, I suppose.

I read the books and honestly, Mockingjay was difficult for me to get into. The first part of the movie version was the same. I, however, have higher expectations for part 2.

I Expected more from the hunger games director. I don't think the movie is as good as the first two. But there's going to be another so they deffently keep you wanting more..

I was not as impressed with this entry into the series, although it was probably handicapped by being Part 1 of 2. I will reserve final judgement until I see the other half.

Unfortunately this is the weakest of the series so far.It is still obligatory must see if you are a fan of this story but it did not hold my interest as much as the first 2.

This movie was good but it was not as good as the previous Hunger Game movies. There wasn't enough to it, they did basically the same thing in 3 different districts.

It was good, not great. But I thought the same thing about the books at this point also, so maybe it's just that they did the best they could with the material they had.

I believe they took what could have been one movie and purely for greed of money made two parts. You could probably watch part two and get the whole idea and more action.

It didn't reflect the book as closely as I wished. I'm sure directors and screenplay adapters hate that response. I would recommend the movie to anyone with that caveat.

Still enjoyable to watch. But, I liked Hunger Games much more. Strong acting. Slower plot/less action. Also, the focus on having the right outfit has worn thin with me.

This third movie in the Hunger Games series is not as entertaining as the first 2. There were some good moments, but mostly just a buildup for the 4th and final movie.

The Hunger Games Mocking Jay part 1 is ok but it could have been better. If you are Hunger Games fan well you must collect this movie. I can't wait to see the sequel.

Worth buying. Thought alittle slow. Can't wait till next one. This one sets up the next one nicely. I have never read the books so i liked the ending of the movie.

You can tell this movie is a part one movie because the whole movie is building until the end instead of hitting the climax in the middle then slowly trending down.

Sometimes stretching the last book in a series is seen only as a money grab. Good set up for final book, but lets just expand the running time and complete series.
