It's getting a little better but it's to drawn out

I exchanged this DVD/Blu-ray combo after the first set Blu-ray would not play. New set is still NO GOOD...Don't know. This is the FIRST Blu-ray I've ever purchased that will not work in my Sony Blu-ray player. Updated the firmware to one a couple of months old, reset the device to factory, unplugged it and still it will not play ( other Blu-rays "Guardians of the Galaxy" play without an issue). While playable the DVD is of an extreme poor quality. I work on the TV Post-production field and this DVD is a very poor encoding job. The low lights on the DVD are all dithered and without smooth transitions. The DVD compressionists blew it. Sorry. BTW the Blu-ray will play on a Sony PS3 and 4. :(

when you could hear the sound the movie was good but the voices did not always come through best buy said it was my problem cause I could not find my receipt to prove I bought it from them and all I wanted to do is exchange it

I didn't like to be left hanging for part 2. There wasn't a lot going on in this movies. Some parts made you think but overall, I should have waiting until part 2 came out and watched this one right before I go see that one.

It's hard to keep a movie franchise moving at the same pace. Mockingjay lost some potential of the first two movies. There is not much action in this film and the book probably shouldn't have been split in two.

I have enjoyed the Hunger Games series so far. However I was disappointed with the 3rd installment. The movie was slow moving. They need to keep up the pace as in parts 1 and 2. It didn't hold my interest.

Was impressed by the first two movies just saw them. They should have made this one a 30 min short film and saved me an hour n a half. At least made mocking jay just one film instead of a 2 part.

Mockingjay 1 and 2 were far inferior to HG 1 and 2. Blu Ray looks great but only by Mockingjay 1 and 2 on sale if you're looking to just simply complete your collection.

This movie was kind of long and drawn out but I assume a lot of it is setup for part 2. Perhaps once part 2 comes out it will make this one seem more relevant. On its own I rate it 3/10.

It feels like the whole movie is a set up for part 2. In my opinion the movie moves way too slow to be considered a full movie. Bad dialogue and not a lot of action. Kind of disappointed.

By the end of the movie it felt like the director left out a few scenes and I understand that the movie suppose to built for Part 2 but it just didn't do it like Catching Fire's ending.

Maybe the books are better, but I'm losing interest. Jennifer Lawrence might be one of the most over rated actresses out there. I'll se the next one because my wife loves the books.

I was expecting a bit more with all of the hype, so the movie did not live up to all the hype and gotta say it was just ok :-|.....if you are a fan then get it, if not then don't

A perfect cash grab, dull and dragged out, this trilogy installment lacked stamina, it's slow pacing could of been forfeited for one good movie instead of a 2 parter.

The steelbook has nice artwork but suffers from a matte finish. This would have benefited from a high gloss and either debossed or embossed title treatment.

Lawrence is not my favorite actor. Cute, but needs to mature a little more. Harrelson does a good job, and Lenny K is a breath of fresh air.

Definitely a money grab, as this 2 hour movie is about 90 minutes too long. The action in the last 30 minutes starts to increase but ends until Part 2.

While not a fan of the series, family member is..saw the movie along with family member and the dialogue seemed robotic ..no feeling

All I can say is this movie was soooooooo boring!!!! I wasted $20 on this drag of a movie. Granted I didn't read the books but, either way, I'm sure they could have managed to make it a little more entertaining than the cry baby movie they made. I don't want to give anything away but... COME ON... 2 hrs of worrying and crying about Peta or whatever is name is? Ugh! Wish I could return this pile of garbage.

Considering it was first of two movies. Other than an obvious attempt to make more revenue, it was a waste of time.
