Fantastic movie! The other two were fantastic and this one is no different, I am so upset I have to wait to see part 2 though, this movie will have you hooked from the moment it begins, especially if you have read the books. While most movies stray from the book a lot this movie keeps in line with the books fairly well. I will be watching this again for sure!

I had previously purchased the first two movies in the series in the steelbook packaging so this was a no brainer. The artwork on the steelbook is great looking and is definitely something every fan and collector needs to have. As for the movie it wasn't as spectacular as the previous two but instead is setting the audience up for the final movie in the series.

As Katniss struggles to keep her hold on reality, and deal with the consequences of the end of the Quarter Quell, Revolution takes hold in Panem. This movie, part 1 of the last book in the series, helps portray the budding revolution as well as the mental breakdown of one individual. A well done movie script with top rate actors. Holds very close to the book.

I picked up this movie for a long plane flight to Arizona. I really enjoyed the movie, in fact I think it was better than the finale (which I saw about a week after seeing this movie). Word of warning about Ultraviolet. I downloaded through Flixster, but you need to be logged into your Flixster account before you can watch the movie in offline mode.

This installment of the Hunger Games trilogy was insanely intense. There was never a moment where you weren't tied into the storyline and emotionally invested (if you're a fan of the series, that is). I felt as though the quality of the books declined with each installment, but I think the exact opposite of the movies. Can't wait for the final installment!

This episode had more to do with going through the stages of grief and "mental reset" than the typical high action movement of the previous episodes. It sets the stage for the next episode which I hope has more action than this one. I understand that some story lines involve more "set the stage" time before the full event unfolds and because of such, the movie runs long and ends up being cut into two segments; however this can also spell the death of high attendance at the next major motion picture debut if the "Part I" loses the audience because it doesn't live up to their expectations and they feel that they wasted the cost of movie ticket. That said, the movie still rated 3 stars although barely. I'm glad I bought a discounted DVD rather than going to the movies on this one. It took me about 15 minutes into the movie to even make the transition from the previous movie episode to where this one began. I also felt that this episode did not reflect the personality of the Katniss we grew to love in the previous episodes. It did however, provide a certain level of entertainment so it wasn't a complete washout. I'll still buy the next episode when it comes out...unless it hits the rental boxes first!

if you're a hunger games fan, this movie won't disappoint. If you're not a hunger games fan, and have seen the movies preceding it, this movie likely won't disappoint. The steel case is an awesome touch and will make an awesome addition to your movie collection. If you haven't seen the first two hunger games I recommend watching them prior to watching this.

I personally loved the books and bought the other movies or got them as gifts and so wanted this one as well. Saw the movie in the theater and I would say it is the best one so far. This particular product was good steel case is only ok, seems kinda cheep but should hold up, I just wouldn't see it as any better than a normal bluray. Good movie with all the you need so not a bad purchase but I have a $5 bestbuy $ to buy mine.

Despite others insisting that the 1st Part of Mockingjay was boring, I found it very interesting and and a great addition to the film franchise. The price was excellent for this film. The blu-ray is an excellent product with very nice picture and sound. The product was shipped and arrived very, very fast. Very satisfied with the whole experience.

this is just a fresh start of the first of 4 movies to this epic series. its so well done and the visuals are stunning. 4k is here to stay and i love collecting these 4k movies. this is a well deserve 5 stars as this is a wonderful beginning to the series. get all 4.

Really enjoyed the movie! Outstanding performances by Philip Seymore Hoffman, Stanley Yucca, and the brilliant Donald Sutherland really play their roles well. Jennifer Lawrence is amazing as well. Great for part one and I really look forward to how they will wrap up the story especially with the untimely death of actor Phillip Seymore Hoffman. Great movie!

Plenty of reviews are written about the movie, which is pretty good, so my focus will be on the steelbook. Day of release it was not crazy in store like some other releases. Once I got movie and took a closer look, this is a really nice steelbook. I prefer a clean and uncluttered look which this has in aces. Great design and I am happy with purchase.

I felt the third book was by far the weakest and slowest of the three, particularly the first half of the book--so considering what they had to work with, the movie was very good. They seemed to alter/soften the relationship somewhat of Katnis and Coin, so it will be interesting to see how they address that before the assassination in the final film.

This movie has great special effects and solid acting performances. It builds on the tension and rebellious uprising that was started in catching fire. It's a perfect setup movie for Part 2 which promises to be the best of them all. It really doesn't stand on its own (being that it's part of a series) but that is to be expected. There are many special features in the Blu Ray version that can entertain you for hours.

The actors were great. Casting was very important to the scope of the movie. Watching it again will not be a problem at all. I have read the full series and have seen each movie up to date. The cinema was awesome. Watching the movie in HD and surround sound was as expected. I would definitely recommend this product to friends. It was a great buy.

Great movie, good storyline (follows the book fairly well - the changes don't distract from the substance), and the special effects are realistic! They did a good job of deepening and explaining relationships amongst the characters in this one while retaining great action scenes. Powerful and emotional ending - makes you look forward to Part 2!

This is the third installment in the Hunger Games series. A bit different from the rest, but still a great movie. Worth picking up if you're a fan. The Steelbook case is a nice bonus, and Best Buy is the only place you can get it. The steelbook is built well and has a nice finish. If you are tired of the cheap plastic ones it is a great option.

Easily to open package and then inside a movie film discuss that when placed properly in one of those movie playing machines it fits in beautifully. Then after changing the channel many times I came across the same movie I just put in the movie machine. It's strange that movie is always playing on that channel when that movie is in the machine.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 is a decent entry in The Hunger Games franchise. I think the producers of the movie are stretching it a bit by making it 2 films. As such, most of this first film seems like filler material to lead you into the 2nd film. Not much of importance here really, the rebellion has started, Katniss finally decides to join, etc. Jennifer Lawrence gives her usual excellent performance.
