I got the first one and I like the whole story and especial effects. I enjoy this one as well. Glad I bought it. 4K is the thing.

The beginning of the film serves as the prequel and introduces us to characters and events that have stayed in the mind of the Huntsman from the first film and into the latter part of the second film, which serves as the sequel portion.

Winters war was a pretty cool sequel to the first huntsman movie, have watched it quite a few times already and enjoy it each time
