After watching the original movie and enjoying it even after hearing and reading negative reviews I decided to give the sequel a try and was not disappointed. Besides being a movie I enjoyed the Steelbook release of this movie stands out from the crowd with it's simple but very unique design. In short if you enjoyed Snow White and The Huntsman you will enjoy the sequel which is building towards a film franchise that can become bigger in the long run.

I am a fan of fantasy and superhero type movies and normally only purchase those types of movies. I did not have the opportunity to see this movie while it was out in the theaters, so I took chance and purchase it. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and proudly added it to my collection. This particular movie came in Blu-ray, DVD and digital format. That allows me the opportunity to watch the movie whenever and wherever I want. I will not purchase a movie unless it includes a digital copy. I truly believe the disc type movie is on the endangered species list.

The prequel to Snow White & The Huntsman was a bit sleepier at times but the stunning 4K picture made up for what the storyline was missing. Charlize was amazing as always and by the end of the first hour you are captivated by the visuals on screen and her performance. If you're a fan of the first movie then this is a must see. And you will not be disappointed by the clarity of the 4K experience. Buy it and enjoy it.

While I bit dour and slow moving at times, I did enjoy Snow White and the Huntsman. I found this episode in the series to be a little bit better. While it has a little less visual beauty and style than the first, it has a lot of cool things to look it. This movie is easier to follow, faster paced, and actually a lot more fun to watch. It looks like everyone is having a good time this time around and it shows.

From the reviews I read, I expected that the story line wouldn't be as good as Snow White. It wasn't bad, but seemed a bit contrived and forced in places. However, the imagery and graphics were great. This was the main reason I purchased this movie, and I wasn't disappointed in this regard. So, if you're looking for great visuals, this is a good one as long as you don't mind a weak story.

I recently purchased The Huntsman:Winter's War & this sequel explains alot that Snow White movie did'nt... I would definitely recommend the purchase of this movie at BestBuy to family & friends for sure... The graphics & sound were so much better than in the movies.. The only two other things that can top this is not if I would've brought this movie in 3D Blu Ray as well as WHEN BestBuy bring back "UPGRADE & SAVE" so that I could've saved some additional money on this purchase...

HDR was done well with this movie. The story is pretty straight forward, but enjoyable.

We missed this film when it was in the theatres and were excited to see it at long last. And what a collection we found! Now we can watch this excellent film no matter where we are or what "tech" we have on hand. The writers did a great job of integrating the characters and the world that we met in "Snow White and the Huntsman" into this film that is an amazing blend of a prequel and a sequel. We are so glad to have this film as part of our collection!

This movie gets off to a bit of a slow start, but once the love-hate-love element of the story gets rolling, it adds up to good quality action, adventure, drama, romance - even a bit of drollery. Chris Hemsworth and Jessica Chastain are appealing actors who have good chemistry with each other, and the dwarves are entertaining as well. Might as well check it out!

This is an entertaining edition of classic Brothers Grimm Snow White fairy tale. Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth are very good in their respective roles (especially Theron as the evil queen). Did not do well in box office release but we found the movie entertaining, although would probably not be one we would watch over and over.

I collect all the fairly tale movies and this one was not a disappointment. I won't comment on the acting because I think it was fine and I won't comment on the plot because I watch movies for their entertainment value. For this movie, I was entertained. More adult in content, I would not advise allowing the little ones to watch as there is some violence. Great special effects, all around a good rainy afternoon movie.

This film takes place before and after events from Snow White and the Huntsman so it's a little confusing at times but it has a lot of action and a solid story. Critics gave this movie bad reviews but it was a good movie. The only negative is that Kristen Stewart was not part of this movie (but snow white was referred to plenty of times).

Provided a lot of backstory to the prequel/original Snow White story, while not including Snow White. A lot of quality special effects. I received the Lucy digital movie code instead of The Huntsman..., but the movie was a good Friday night action movie.

I was really looking forward to this prequel/sequel and then it came out. The previews made it more exciting that it was. There was not enough battle scenes with the two sisters. The war between them could have made it a lot better and more exciting. I wish there were a maybe link instead of just a yes and no recommendation.

I seen the first Huntsman, good movie I own the blu ray, and then I purchased the second one in steelbook, great art work far as the art work goes on the steelbook, but the movie was not bad at all, it answered a lot of questions and filled in the blanks of first on , but overall I think the second is better than the first

Don't expect a great script or deep characters and you will have a good time watching this movie. The three main actresses are unusually good and their acting stands above the rest of the movie. The visuals are magnificent, which is why the 4K version is worth buying. The ice and metal details are vibrant in UHD.

This isn't really the story before the story. There is a prequel portion and then an offshoot into the time after the first Huntsman movie. Cool visuals, and Jessica Chastain is deliciously tough and beautiful. A touch of humor thrown into several of the relationships makes it seem a bit more human.

I remember seeing the first "Huntsman" I thought it was pretty good but I thought this prequel/sequel was actually better. I never got the first one on blu-ray which I think I'll get now. As for the "Winter's War" I thought it was one of the best movies of the year. To walk in and see one Best Buy Exclusive "steelbook" left on the shelf made my day. It is truly a fun and entertaining film.
