I kind of developed a soft spot for it after watching it a couple of times. It's a right balance of family and adult entertainment. Literally brings the book to life. The 4k picture is definitely sharper. It stands out. The sound, once you get it up to reference levels is booming.

With recent strings of Live Feature from Cinderella, Malificent and this time Jungle Book. Great animation that made this movie a juggernaut at the box office Nothing more great than getting it at Best Buy!

The original Jungle Book was a timeless classic and was hesitant to watch what John Favreau did until I saw it on Netflix using a high def TV and Surround Sound. OMG. Great retelling of a classic.

This is now my daughters favorite Disney Movie. It was really exciting and true to the original. She's a princess but this was much more her speed than the live action Cinderella. Great effects and fast pace.

I love the classic animated classic and now that Disney is rebooting all of them into live action movies, they did a great job with! Loved it, specially my nephew; and he hasn't even seen the cartoon one yet.

This movie is one of my favorites of the year! Solid performances and the special effects are flawless. For a movie this great I was expecting some type of special cover/release but still worth the purchase.

After I watched it a couple more times with my kids, I've come to appreciate it more and more. The humor is good. The camera work is great. But overall, it's just a beautiful movie...especially on Bluray.

This is a great movie. Stays very close to the original animated movie in a very good way. Knowing how this movie was shot makes it that more impressive but doesn't make it the only reason for my high score.

I think this is one of Disney's finest live action adaptations, and one of the few in my opinion that surpass it's animation predecessor. It looks amazing in UHD.

This is the third movie that goes by the name, "The Jungle Book." The ink on this remake isn't even dry yet and there is another remake of this movie in the works. The world's progressive political bent and all of the social justice reforms are evident in this version. Even so, this is a good family movie. No cursing but the violence is nonstop.

I have to get this movie in 3D, the story is very catchy and get your attention the whole time. I never watch the animated version but this is the one for me. 5 stars eyes closed.

Went and saw this in the theatre and was blown away by the visuals of this version. Bought movie and watched it at home and still looks great watching it in my living room. Defiantly worth the purchase.

Two of my grandchildren (5 and 6) and I enjoy the original animated version of this film. The live version received good ratings, so I bought it. However, I watched it first before sharing it with them. It is much scarier than the animated version. I decided not to share it with them, and instead I will be giving it to my older (8) grandchild..

I am a Disney fanatic so I was a little nervous about this seeing as how it's all animals but it was fantastic. Great story with slight variations from animated one but still an amazing movie! Great cast.

Disney is on a roll with their live action films, and Jungle Book was not an exception. They kept great cartoon moments, and added a lot more than just making the cartoon live action + CGI. Great show.

I remember watching this movie as a kid and it was not as cool as this one. I am jealous that my kids get a movie this cool to watch. Well worth the money and the we've watched it several times already.

Disney and Pixar have done a great job upgrading their movies into 4K. Worth the purchase on two fronts: the movie itself and the upgrade in quality.

Not too bad for a 4 year old movie, yeah, I'm a bit late on this one. Not as good as Lion King but very good none the less. Good choice for the collection.

I am a big fan of the original animated classic. I felt this was a good live action take on the story and the vocal performances were very good, especially Bill Murray. The art on the steel book is very nice and the 4K looks and sounds great. Happy to add it to my collection.

One of the things that blows you away with this movie is it was all CGI except the boy on green screen. You would swear it had to be filmed on location somewhere. Top notch all star voice actors too!
