Puns, Puns, Puns! Love its, but what I love more....Ok when I watch films I do so on a 180" movie theater screen with full 7.1 surround sound and the Buttkicker transducer system. This is not to Boast but to give an idea of the clarity that I rate both 4k and 1080p films. 1st off regardless if you are huge into 4k or still collect Blu-ray; I will add that with today's (Oppo) upscaling technology along with upscaling technology on theater projectors that the difference between Blu-ray & 4k is minimal. I will say that going over 180" that you will likely see a difference and recommend 4k for 150"+ screens. I love the picture and sound quality. You can read any review about the story, but I can say on a large screen that the picture is perfect and the sound is engaging and never faultered.

In this sort-of sequel to "The Lego Movie", Batman has to confront the problem that he's a supercilious loner with zero desire to develop any type of close relationship with anyone. But the Joker disagrees, seeing Batman and himself as, shall we say, bros. Mayhem ensues as the Joker unleashes just about every famous movie and TV monster/villain on Gotham City.. The jokes -- both visual and verbal -- come fast and furious. You'll eventually have to watch a second time with your finger on Pause to make sure you didn't miss anything. But you'll //want// to see it a second time, regardless. The only problem is that Batman becomes so introspective and self-analytical that it eventually becomes annoying. But this is a minor flaw. Highly recommended.

The Lego Movie is one of my favorite movies of all time and while The Lego Batman Movie isn't as good as its predecessor, it still has excellent humor, fun characters, memorable music, and a great lesson. One of my biggest complaints about the movie is voice actor they picked for the Joker. It would have been so cool to have Mark Hamill since he has really become quintessential Joker thanks to all of his work in the Batman animated films and video games. However, since they didn't use Kevin Conroy for the voice of Batman, I can see why they didn't use Mark Hamill because they didn't want to have one without the other. Other than that, it's fun movie that's sure to entertain and delight. Buy it! :)

So the movie is amazing, it’s definitely a must see for any Batman fan and even better with legos... the funny thing is you wouldn’t think this LEGO could hurt but I was wrong, I was walking in my living room not paying attention when I stepped on the Blu-ray case and man did it feel like a real dang LEGO under my foot. It hurt so much I jumped up and down from the pain that I actually stepped on the case a second time with other foot. I immediately fell and grabbed both my feet. I looked like an upside cockroach stuck on its back. Eventually the pain went away and I was able to get back to my Popcorn and finish the movie. It was a real tear jerker to say the least...

Our kids love the Lego universe and we have been dragged along. Reluctantly at first however the humor has won us over and we look forward to the upcoming Lego franchises movies. This is a fun take on the Batman universe, it doesn't take itself or any of the Batman series too seriously and has fun with the legacy. Kid safe and mother approved can't expect much more. Video looks great, usually animated movies do and this one does not disappoint. Sound is Dolby Atmos, very good sound quality Digital code redeems for UHD though Flixster. Do not redeem though Vudu, redeem though Flixster and then UDH UV copy should appear in your VUDU library.

This is a great, fun movie. "Batman" is excellent. The pace of the movie is sometimes frantic, and at times there are simply too many characters to keep track of. Having said that this is a movie the whole family can enjoy. Yes, some parts are more suitable for adults, but the "kids" will enjoy all the action and amazing colors! Yes, colors. This is an explosive (pun intended) an very colorful movie. It highlights many of the "batman story lines" to anyone familiar with the franchise. If not, no biggie as it does not detract. Kids will love the noise - adults, well it can get tedious and a bit much after a while, but great fun. Highly recommended.

There's jokes for kids and parents, both, but maybe I'm too old for the here-there-and-everywhere focus of each and every scene. The individual scenes and dialogue seem to bounce all over the place as if the movie can't concentrate. It's dizzying. The overall story arc makes sense and happens at an enjoyable pace, but when reflecting on each scene you wonder how we ever made it. It's like playing racquetball through a series of rooms: yes, you move from room to room and make your way through the entire building, and do so at an expected pace overall, but within each room you wonder if the energy expended watching the ball bounce all over the place and the players running all over the room was necessary or even distracting. Could we have simple walked from room to room, stopping and admiring the each room for a brief second, before walking on to the next room? I don't know if I'm too old, the director was unfocus, or the producer(s) thought the audience of children would lose interest otherwise.

Wanna see a film that will just keep you laughing all the way through it? Well last night we certainly found one, "The LEGO Batman Movie (2017)". Lego Batman was a film that we had been waiting to see and last night we headed out to the theaters to enjoy some laughter. From the start of the movie it was on! This movie was Lego at it's finest, Batman took Lego films to a whole new level of laughter. Every few minutes we couldn't stop giggling. The LEGO Batman Movie (2017) was filled with Batman singing his made up songs, The LEGO Batman Movie (2017) is a movie that made us finally feel like a kid again; awesome from start to finish!

Weird combo pack for a good movie

I'm not going to give my opinion of the movie itself because I know that I can only judge one with my own eyes. Instead I'm going to describe the 3D combo pack. As has become common with them since 4K combo packs arrived on the market, DVDs are no longer included, and for some reason I thought it would come with one "on accident" a la Warner's last animated movie Storks and Assassin's Creed. I never really used the DVD, I just wanted to note it just incase it is a deal breaker. Secondly, and most controversial, there is no Atmos track on the 3D disc. Even though I don't have a sound system for my home theater I feel the pain for those that do. Why don't they include the 3D audio track on the 3D disc? Space was definitely not an issue as Warner is infamous for underusing disk space. Other than that I will say, you're buying this for the movie like I did and you won't regret your purchase! These were just my observations if you were deciding on the 3D one

Magnificent. This is a joyful celebration of the caped crusader, with Arnett giving us the best incarnation of Batman since The Dark Knight. Absolutely saturated with in-jokes and homages, and with a script that revels in self deprecating humor, this is a thoroughly delightful experience that masterfully delivers an exceptional addition to the DC universe. The characters are charming, the visuals are captivating, and the story line remains wonderfully true to the Lego ethos whilst delivering an epic Batman v. Joker showdown that is sure to keep you enthralled. A brilliantly fun family film.
