Even though this is a lego movie, the thought and care put into making it shows. From the rogues gallery of villains, to the seldom if not rarely touched upon area of Batman and his solitary lifestyle after fighting crime, this is I think one of the top five all time batman movies. I hope they make a sequel very soon. Highly recommended for Lego, Batman, and comic book fans.

The Lego Batman Movie is a must-have for every bat-fan's collection. It's pound for pound one of the greatest Batman things ever made. It's a love letter to the character's long history, yet delves into unexplored themes in interesting and surprisingly emotional ways. A true testament to Batman's versatility and a perfect palate cleanser following BvS and Suicide Squad.

This is a movie that was made for fans of Batman and kids. If you love Batman or have a child that is into super heroes and LEGO then this is a great movie. Though I could see adults and teens that aren't fans of Batman finding this movie uninteresting. Behind all the excellent references to all the Batman movies, television shows, animations, and comics it is just a standard children's movie that many adults would find dull. But I loved every bit of it. I had a blast spotting all the references in the movie and I'm sure I'll find more the more I watch it.

The film is a funny riff on the entire history of the character. My main complaint is the movie kind of forgets its a Lego movie. The Lego Movie was great because actual, physical legos were part of the story and world. This just feels like a normal Batman movie, and building with legos only comes into play once or twice. The movie honestly could have just been a normal animated film and omitted the lego aspect completely. The steelbook has a cool lego design, but artistically its kind of weird that the cover is Batman holding up his mask. Like...ok?

I think I enjoyed this movie more than my son. Had some very funny lines, and nostalgic cameos. This could be a little scary for younger kids, but my 5 year old did fine. The only tiny issue I have is how fast moving the action can be. There is so much detail, that it's hard to focus. Had the same problem with the Lego movie. Could easily just be me.

Who knew that the best DC film to come out in ages wouldn't even really be a DC film? And be made out of Legos? I was slightly skeptical about this film initially after the success of Lego Movie, but clearly whoever's in charge knows what they're doing. I'm even looking forward to the Lego Ninjago Movie, based on a franchise that I have zero interest in.

The Lego movies have been hit and miss for me, mostly miss, but I do have to say that this one was a good watch. Batman here takes himself a little too seriously but its part of what makes the movie so entertaining. I've been looking to pick this movie up for awhile and when I saw it was part of the Black Friday sale, I couldn't wait any longer

Great story. Awesome voice acting. Wonderful animation. Cool packaging and digital copy from VUDU. What's not to love? I just wish the bonus features were on the digital copy also. I'm starting to think I should stop purchasing physical media because it doesn't give you as much content on the digital side - which is where I watch most of the time.

We sat down as a family and watched it. As a life-long Batman fan, I found many of the blink-and-you-miss-it references very funny and cool. Some were incredibly obscure, but it was great to see even the '40s serials some love. My son loves the Lego Star Wars and enjoyed this movie's silliness as well. Finally, my wife really enjoyed The Lego Movie and felt this one was just as good. Our biggest issue was with pacing. Sometimes the movie is going at a rip-roaring pace, while it slows to a crawl between the second and third act.

This movie has something for everyone. The kids love it, the wife and I love it. It's super funny but also a good batman story. This 4k bluray has been the best way to show off my tv's hdr capabilities as well, hdr being on makes a huuuge difference with the super strong use of color in this movie. If you like lego movie or batman, buy this.

Who ever did not like this movie is CRAZY! I laughed and I even cried. I took my son to watch it at the movies when it first came out and he loved it (he is 8 ). We rented it last night and then I was able to get a credit from Amazon so I went ahead and bought the movie. Most def a great movie with awesome music and catchy songs.

The folks behind these Lego films sure know what they're doing, which is a little sad because I think that this is the best DC film to come out in ages, and DC's studio had nothing to do with it. The steelbook is quite attractive and loaded with amusing special features, fully ripping into DC lore as well as Will Arnett being Canadian.

I saw this movie in the theater with my family and really enjoyed it. I only buy movies if it's something that we will watch over and over and this movie is definitely one that fits the criteria. During my most recent trip to Best Buy I found the Blu-Ray on sale and had to buy it. LEGO Batman will keep kids entertained and adults laughing.

Maybe it's my fault, but I tried to watch this with my toddler and the overall theme of the movie promotes hatred, but in a loving way, which is a weird dynamic. Batman and Joker died because Joker wants Batman to hate him, but Batman is too selfish to hate him as much as the Joner would like. Overall, not a good children's movie.

Lego Batman Movie is a really fun movie for the kids and anyone who is a pop culture Batman fan, would like this movie. With all the serious subject that the Dark knight deals with in todays movie industry, its nice to be able to laugh a little at our favorite hero's plight. My girls loved it and had to have it for their collection.

This movie had me laughing so hard. Will Arnett is perfect for this role and the comedic timing is perfect. I'm a huge Batman fan and can see a lot the hidden humor in things that perhaps only a hardcore fan may see. But I really think anyone would enjoy this movie. If you liked the Lego move then you will certainly love this one.

I barely remember playing with Lego's as a kid, but now our house is overflowing with them for about 5 years. The original LEGO movie was definitely better than this one. Our child has not been as into super hero's like some kids. He enjoyed it (though he's old enough to not be as interested in animated movies much longer), but we found it with less of an overall positive message as the original LEGO movie. More violence, but at least it was all comic vs. 'real' like so may of the super hero movies.

I’ve gotten several Ultra HD videos to take advantage of an Ultra HD DVD and TV. This one is up there with the best. The movie itself is quite entertaining (better than I anticipated) and the use of Ultra HD content makes it extra nice. A very good Ultra HD sample for those interested in taking advantage of this technology.

Lego movies (animated) are always top notch comedies. From Batman to any of the Star Wars ones, the humor and subtle winks to the adults are always great. Don't judge this one against the Lego movie where too much was going on and the plot was meandering. When Lego focuses on DC or other specific IPs, the humor is always spot on.

When I heard they were making a Lego (movie) Batman movie, I was skeptical. I thought he was funny in Lego Movie, but I didn't think he deserved his own movie. I was pleasantly surprised and it turned out to be just as good as Lego Movie itself. Definitely worth the watch if you're a fan of Legos and the Lego Movie.
