This movie is great I have no kids at all....I just wanted to see this since it had great reviews...I normally watch action/sci_fi and alot of 3d, so this was a little out of the ordinary. I also got this on sale for about 14.99 online, this movie is funny, creative and has great visuals for it being a lego movie. If I had kids I would definitely show this. Me and my wife were amused through out the movie.

Best movie ever! Be prepared to constantly laugh and laugh because you won't be able to stop laughing. Laughing is a good medicine. Life is too short to be stuffy, and this movie will bring out your happy in you. It's a Must to watch especially if you have kids you must watch it with them then you would be the cool parent. Make memories watching this with your loved ones. In the end memories is all we have. So enjoy!

We have 2 boys ages 8 & 10 and a 14 year old daughter. All three of them, as well as my husband and I, all enjoy this movie. It's appropriate for children, but also has humor for the adults. We first saw the Lego Movie at the theater and now it has been watched several times on DVD as well. Legos have been around a long time and I don't think they'll be discontinued, so this movie will live on for many generations to come.

i was really excited to get this on blu-ray after seeing it in the theater. i knew it was one of those movies i would want to watch again and again. this movie is one of the funniest i've seen in a long time. the voice-actors are amazingly hysterical. in addition, the overall animation is spectacular. at a time when the world is not always the happiest place, pop this movie in, and you can't help but see the humor again.

I was hesitant to see this movie in theaters, but after 5 minutes, I was hooked. So glad its out on DVD so I can share it with friends who weren't so lucky! Great story (think The Matrix) for kids and plenty of humor and references for adults. Family friendly and very fun. Lots of subtle humor in the lyrics to the songs and background characters in many of the scenes. The song will stick in your head...and that's OK.

We like this movie, and got it at a great price at BestBuy on Black Friday. I always make sure to stop by there for movies that day! Love the DVD Blu-Ray combo so we can keep discs in the house and in the car. And love having a digital copy for us to access anywhere BUT....I do not like that it doesn't go through iTunes. It's annoying to have to set up an ultraviolet account and that I can't just import it into iTunes where EVERYTHING else I have is. I like streamline. And maybe there's a way and I just haven't figured it out yet, but I'm the "average" person, so that means I'm not alone in being annoyed at this.

Really fun movie that is guaranteed to put a smile on everyone's face, whether you were a Lego fan or not. It's just great humor for everyone, some jokes specifically targeted at kids and many jokes targeted only at adults that will likely fly over a kid's head. I was a little disappointed with the lack of special features, but I understand that they're probably targeting kids with this blu ray release, and kids aren't going to sit through 2 hours of special features. Definitely worth the purchase if you're looking for a fun movie to watch with anyone of any age.

Saw it originally in theater with my nephew's kids who thoroughly enjoyed. I found it to be cleverly conceived, animation was great and humor was well done. Much of the humor reminded me of the original Shrek movie with some of the references great for adults but maybe was missed by the kiddies. It was on the Christmas list of same great nephew so I purchased it for him knowing the whole family would enjoy it.

Pre-ordered this movie on Sunday and it arrived on release day, Tuesday. We told the kids we were going to have a movie night and when I open the package and they saw it was the Lego movie, they were so pumped. Great movie and the kids were entertained and asked if we could watch it every night as family. While my wife and I got some laughs from it and enjoyed watching, I don't think we will be watching every night

This is one of the best family movies to come out in the last few years. I don't consider it a kids movie because adults will love it just as much as kids do. The story is awesome, the characters are awesome, and the way they made it look is awesome. It is a little light on special features, but the special features includes are done very well. This is a must have for all movie lovers, the blu-ray looks amazing.

The entire movie was a complete blast. Plenty of fun characters, including Batman. He was by far the best in the movie. The reference to Star Wars was brilliant. Unikitty was my favorite secondary character. The Kraggle was the perfect plot device and perfectly appropriate. The sound and picture were flawless. Looks great in HD. There is plenty of extras on the Blu-ray to keep you busy. Highly recommended

As a long time Lego fan and a long time adult who acts like a child, this movie was entertaining from the beginning straight down to the very end. You'll laugh and laugh and laugh the whole way through at some of the jokes that can only be funny when spoken by a Yellow-headed lego man! Pick it up for a Friday movie night with your kids, your siblings, friends, or parents because everyone will enjoy this flick.

Legos have never been more awesome. I'm fairly certain at select points Morgan Freeman was in fact reading from a phone book and still somehow remained vocally captivating and hysterically funny. Talent. As for the rest of the cast and team of script writers, let's just say I'll be looking for them all in the Lego Movie sequel, including Batman. Unless, somehow, he does become invisible using his "science".

I had little expectations of this movie but thought it would be good. My youngest daughter (6) had even less expectations as when I brought it home she was very disappointed that it wasn't something else. But after watching it over 50 times now (may be a slight exaggeration) it is one of her favorite and go to movies. It's sweet, it's funny, it's good. Chris Pratt definitely delivers as does Will Ferrell!!

The Lego Movie Blu Ray-DVD-Digital Copy is great entertainment for the whole family. There are not enough family oriented movies with a new take on things like the Lego movie and because this movie comes in all formats it allows the family to watch using the most common formats available. The movie itself is fun for the whole family promotes the use of imagination so often lost on society nowadays.

This is probably one of the best animated family movies of 2014 that equates in quality and humor that we found in Shrek when it first released in 2001. This movie blends kids entertainment with pop-culture and brings something to the table for both kids and adults alike to enjoy. The 3D packaging and lego toy makes this combo package extra fun & is sure to put a big grin on your face ...as it did mine :)

I don't want to reveal any details of the plot as it is fun to let the story unfold. I will say that my children and I loved the Lego Movie. We are huge Lego fans. We have watched the movie twice this weekend and still want to watch it in 3D. The "Everything Is Awesome" song is catchy. My son sings it around the house. My wife likes Legos, but alas, did not like the movie. I guess she just didn't "get" it.

Entertaining, safe family fun. We have watched this movie dozens of times already. Lots of laughs and non-stop action. The kids once watched it frame by frame to see the action scenes fly by brick by brick. There are hundreds of "Easter eggs" embedded in the movie to keep the kids looking for new discoveries. It seems they find something new every time watch it. Oh, and it has a good moral to the story...

Bought The Lego Movie for my 12-year-old son who is absolutely obsessed with Legos. I knew he would love it, but the surprise was the rest of the family enjoyed it too. There are subtleties that kids won't even pick up on but the adults enjoy. And the visual effects are just so interesting to watch. Every time he sees it, he picks up on little details he didn't see before. Definitely worth the investment!

The Lego Movie is a mystical wonder of an animated epic story. At first glance, it seems to be one of the biggest product placements next to Michael Bay's Transformers movies. But nope, it's a biting original comedy with a really rare existential twist that's neither preachy nor too gimmicky. Should have gotten a best animated feature film Oscar nod AND the 10th 2015 Best Picture nod as well.
