Purchased this movie for my son (4 years old) for his birthday. He really enjoyed watching it and it has excellent replay value. It has encouraged him to play with Legos and the theme song is quite catchy. Everyone in the family enjoyed watching the movie and we will certainly watch it again. Definitely recommended for the Lego lover and/or anyone with young children.

So I was told by one of my coworkers to check out this movie and I purchased it a couple of weeks ago. I have watched it twice and enjoyed it. One of the features I like about the movie is everything is composed of Lego pieces, although there are a few notable exceptions. The movie has great humor and the original song was definitely worthy of an Oscar nomination.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I watched this movie for the first time, but I loved it! It's a movie that both my son and I have enjoyed watching over and over again. It is the movie that I would recommend to anyone who has never watched a Lego movie as it is, in my opinion, the best introduction you can get to them! Like the song says... ... ...Everything is awesome!

When we saw it in the theater my kids were enjoying the Legos, plot and familiar characters while the adults behind us couldn't stop laughing and repeating lines. My sons were very excited to own this movie and watched it several times in the first day. My eight year old has started to mix up his sets and be more creative with his toys, which has been really fun to see!

Seeing the preview for the LEGO Movie did not entice me to see, but after reading the reviews and seeing how well it was doing at the box office, I took my 3 year old girl to see it. We both loved it. There is humor for both kids and adults as well as some overall life lessons that the movie teaches. I bought this on Black Friday so the price point was awesome too.

I first saw this movie in the theater and instantly knew I would add it to my Blu-ray collection. Genuinely funny and well-made ... so many really clever reasons to see it over and over again! I believe this is the kind of movie that will stand the test of time - I can totally see myself watching this movie 5 years from now and still enjoying it just as much as today!

I hadn't seen this when it was in the cinemas and was a bit reluctant to purchase it because I assumed it was a movie strictly for young children. Fortunately, I was wrong. Although it is clearly geared as a family film, adults will certainly enjoy the humor that's interjected throughout the movie. A few scenes were predictable but overall, it kept my interest and the 3D was excellent. Worth having in your collection. No, it's not the best film ever made but certainly worth of 4 stars, and I'm guessing many will say it deserves 5. They may be right!

this is a great children's movie with decidedly adult overtures of non-conformism, self-determination and fighting the good fight. the live action sequence at the end of the movie is something for all parents to pay attention and learn from. from my child's (and my own inner child's) point of view, it was a great, fun movie with plenty of silliness and action for all.

You'll be afraid it's a long Lego ad. It's not. You'll be afraid it has no plot. It does. You'll be afraid it has no pathos. It has, in spades. This one caught my attention and kept it until the end titles--a rare wonder. As soon as I saw it in the theatre, I knew I would buy the 3D blu-ray. You should, too! A great family flick, but also great fun for an adult party.

I didn't know what to expect from this one, but I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The characters were all endearing, the story was fun, and the animation was outstanding! The Blu-ray provides amazing clarity and rich color saturation...all in all, an absolutely gorgeous image that really helped bring the Legos and their world to life. Highly recommended!

Great movie, kids love it and want to watch it over and over. My wife and I like it also. It has a great message for adults and kids, and is entertaining at the same time. Both the Blu-Ray and DVD have great quality. The only downside is the digital edition is an UltraViolet thing, which is really a pain to get working for me for some reason. Overall, well worth it.

While the "everything is aweseome" edition does come with a Lego minifigure and a portrait of the main character, it is a little expensive and is the only way to get the film in 3D. This film is great for crowds of all ages and even has a great story that will surprise even long-time veterans of film. The less I say, the better, so watch the film and be overjoyed.

I wouldn't say this movie is over due, because if it came out any earlier, it may not have been as good. The voice over work was executed flawlessly. I think the voices assigned were a perfect fit. The mix of stop-motion and live action mixed well. The overall moral and message was carefully placed so as not to seem preachy, but instead added to the magic and fun.

As a life long Lego fanatic, I love everything Lego. I may be an adult, but I'm still a kid at heart. And my favorite toy was always Legos. Needless to say I was ecstatic when the Lego video games came out, and even more excited when I saw the movie. Anyone who has ever had a big bucket of Legos when they were a kid will love the subtle references made in the movie.

First of all, growing up in the 80s and playing with legos was awesome! Second of all, this movie brings to life the characters I grew to love playing with! Also, Will Ferrell as a bad guy....genius! Fun movie for boys, with a heroine for the girls, and still plenty of cgi action for dad. This movie covers all the bases, and insures that "EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!"

My family loves the movie. I think it is great fun for both kids and parents to watch. I'm not going to spoil the movie for anyone, but I think it is worth watching/getting. Since I have both DVD and blu-ray players I like opting for these dual DVD packs. I enjoy the bonus of the digital copy, so my kids can watch the shows on the road (with internet connection).

The Lego Movie is a very good kids' movie, much better than average, and fun for adults, too. It's visually charming, with a stylized CG technique that emulates stop-motion animation very nicely. The extras are limited; it would have been nice to see more about the animation process, and the digital HD version included with the Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack is Ultra Violet, so no iTunes compatibility. The Blu-Ray transfer looks great. But, in summary, a better movie than one might expect, with many beguiling details that will reward repeat viewings

The Lego Movie's tone and visual style were both unexpected warranting a second watch. After watching it a second time however, I was hooked. From the photo realistic CGI to the hilariousness of Chris Pratt as Emmet "Everything was AWESOME!" A visually appealing hilarious roller coaster ride that teaches us we can all be special if we just believe in ourselves!

This movie is fun for all ages. Even if you never picked up a Lego Brick in your lifetime, you will still enjoy this movie. If you are a Lego collector, you will get more out of it with all of the Lego references throughout. It even ends with a nice point that ends up as a feel good movie. Won't spoil it but the message it gets across is so true in daily life.

Saw this movie in the theater with my daughter and we both laughed and loved it a lot! Just watched the Blu-ray last night and were blown away with the picture quality and sound in our home theater. This is one of the best looking and sounding Blu-rays I've seen in a while. Would recommend this to anyone who appreciates a good movie and great picture and sound.
